GregClow (2318), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 8, 2008 Can shared with tupalev - courtesy of biegaman. Actually looks OK at first - nice golden colour with a large white head - but the head quickly disappears to a thin, scummy layer. Aroma of rotting vegetables and chicken fat - ugh! Body is sticky and greasy. Flavour tastes like slightly rancid chicken stock mixed with the water that corn has been boiled in. Absolutely vile.
BlackDonald (1040), North Carolina, USA Aug 7, 2008 You know I’ve had low alcohol beers before that were quite tasty, this is a piss poor example of that style and I do mean piss. Nuff said. cbkschubert (1555), Skyline, Arizona, USA Jul 12, 2008 Rating #1500 12 oz. can courtesy of Bockyhorsey - That’s right boys and girls. It’s time to rate Arizona’s favorite milestone beer and my 1st, probably last, low alcohol beer. Pours a crystal clear golden color with a one and a half finger thick white head. Light spotty lacing. Aroma is your typical grain and herbal hops. The flavor is.... Ah hell, this beer(?) just plain SUCKS. Which makes it perfect for #1500! If you didn’t have to drink it, it would be OK. Anyways, thanks (I think) to Bill for hooking me up. Bockyhorsey (1951), Mesa, Arizona, USA Jul 11, 2008 Updated: Jul 13, 2008# 1900 Can at Bockyhorsey’s Bocky Bash on 7-5-08. Aroma of grain. Yellow body with white head. Just the standard grain flavor you would find in swill. Bought mainly for around the house when my dad visits but someone hadn’t rated a n/a beer so had to bust it out. SuperDave70 (720), Arizona, USA Jul 8, 2008 Sampled at Bockyhorsey’s Bocky Bash on 7-5-08. Number 600! Thanks Bill, though I’m a little curious why you had this in the house... As for the rating: Anheuser Busch, using detailed and proven scientific methods, discovered everything good and desirable about beer. Then they invented a way to remove all of it. This is the result. Cheers!
