Clocking in at 5.7% ABV and proudly brewed with grains from America’s heartland and other toasted malts, Busch Signature Copper Lager is a darker, slightly more flavorful beer that still has the signature smooth, clean finish of Busch Beer.

Poured a dark copper with minimal head and lacing. Aroma was of sweet malts/grains with slight fruity hint. Taste was predominately a mix of malts with some other roasted grains in the background and a light hop finish. Mouth was average at best. Overall, fairly drinkable.

Can shared with jackl. Deep clear amber color. Aroma of light pepper, cardboard. Taste is watery caramel, light body.

Bought this because cheap and I figured with the ratings would be a good cheap beer. It's not. Sickly sweet, I'm sure the "copper" is Carmel coloring. Pabst and even Hamms is better if I have to buy cheap swill. Typical horrible InBev crap. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is a huge improvement to Busch. It still has that expected flavor but with much more backbone and malty body.

16 oz can shared by b3shine. Pours a clear copper color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet grainy malts, some corn, caramel, grass, smooth lager, better than I thought it would be.

16oz can, thanks (thanks?) to b3shine for sharing. Date on bottom of the can is 27-may-14. Clear amber color, kind of darker, slightly brown. Thin off-white head. Dots of lace. Light to medium body. Smooth, kind of soft crisp carbonation. Light slick finish. Caramel malt, light metallic mustiness, some dark fruit. Moderate sweet taste, light bitter. Not awful.

Pours a true copper color with a faint sweet malt aroma. Taste is clean with a minimal malt flavor. A smooth finish that had a clean aftertaste. No complex flavors, slight caramel and malt with a light toast film on the palate.

16 oz can to half-pint glass (shared with the Mrs.). Looks solid; a transparent copperish brown with foamy off-white head. Smells of lager yeast and some corn; maybe some cheap grain too. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. A touch of caramel. Okay for what it is.

Big boy can split w/ Travlr (at his insistence). Light amber pour with a small head. Red apples, a bit of caramel. Really soft, not much to it. Taste is similar. caramel, glazed donut. Grain. Simple, easy to drink. Active carbonation. Actually better than I thought it would be.

Tastes great for a busch brand. Been through 2 twelve packs this past month, no complaints for a beer that is under 9 bucks a 12’er at wally world. Will buy again and will enjoy.

So I stop in the gas station cuz I wanted a dark lager to parboil some brats. All I had at home was IPA abd I wanted to save that for drinking. Saw the big can of this and noticed it was new. Wasnt sure how dark and caramel it would be so I got a can of brown ale to mix with. Of course i poured a sample for rating before cooking. Not great but quite a surprise and decent enough beer for the price. Copper color sure enough, no melanoidin components to speak of, but bready and even an actual suggestion of hop. Not watery but still leaning toward bland on the whole, at first seemed clean but then i noticed the typical a-b acetaldehyde yeast profile, i really dont know why they dont clean that up.
