Clocking in at 5.7% ABV and proudly brewed with grains from Americaís heartland and other toasted malts, Busch Signature Copper Lager is a darker, slightly more flavorful beer that still has the signature smooth, clean finish of Busch Beer.

Poured a dark copper with minimal head and lacing. Aroma was of sweet malts/grains with slight fruity hint. Taste was predominately a mix of malts with some other roasted grains in the background and a light hop finish. Mouth was average at best. Overall, fairly drinkable.

Bottle. Pours clean, copper with white head. Aroma is lager yeast, hay, a bit if toast. Taste is light bodied, crisp, thin, really not much flavor going on, kinda like drinking a highly watered down beer. Overall, not too impressed.

This is a really pretty beer with a dark brown appearance and very little tannish head. A mediocre taste that goes down easy if a tad bit warmer; this is not an ice cold beer. High marks appearance, neutral aroma, low taste(not horrible and not great, easily drank though). Locally Iíve only seen these in 6-packs in pint cans, at 3.50 the price canít be beat, 65% of the cost of domestic light 30-packs with a huge jump in ABV. Definitely a value beer hence the high overall score, will buy again as my daily run-of-the-mill beer many more times Iím sure!

Copper pour with a beige head. Aroma is cereal grains. Taste is cereal grains, light malt, light flavor. OK tasting. No off flavors. Cheap good American lager.

For $4.50/6 16oz and 5.7% alcohol content, hands down my favorite supermarket beer. More taste and color than the typical cheapies. I love a lot of beers, but in "itís" category, itís way tastier than anything Bud, smoother and more delicious than Icehouse, even though I like Icehouse a lot. Itís just reliable for the things Iím looking for in a basic, daily- type, massively inexpensive brew.

Itís cheap....My first look after pouriing, I think wow, I may be in for a treat. Noooo, donít think I should go quite that far....Aroma is okay. Smells like it could be great. Caramel, other sweetness, it smells pretty good.....It appears to be dark amber, itís pretty actually. Looks good, I expect a lot out of it....It doesnít live up to expectations. A beer this color should be more bitter, more bold, more something. Itísí okay. Itís lacking in flavor, but still better than a lot of beers....Itís not very pleasing on the palate. Itís smooth, but thatís about all. There is no depth, no nothing really. As far as palate goes, itís not much different than a light beer.....I expected more, but my rating is still pretty high. Itís cheap, and it tastes okay. Iíll probably have it again, and again, because of the price.

Pours a clear light brown with a light tan head. Aroma is of crystal malts. Flavour is a little watery and dry. Body is quite thin, but not refreshingly so. Finish has some hop character and bitterness. The aroma and colour imply a much heavier and possibly slightly sweet finish, but it is not so. It just doesn't match up.

Fairly light, slightly malty smell, amber colored and clear, taste is slightly sweet, and a bit like malt liquor but nothing beyond that, no hops...smooth sweet water finish

Tallboy on the street in Galveston. Aroma has some hops and banana. Tastes sweet, mildly hoppy. Slightly sour aftertaste. Honestly not bad for what it is.

tastes like watered down Samuel Adamsí boston lager which is a complement. Not too bad but nothing good either except the price. Donít expect too much out of it and you wonít be disappointed.

This review applies to the 12oz bottles version of this beer. Finally the macros are striking back against crafts with a value beer that accomplishes what they previously were unable to do: a beer that while still mass produced is a fantastic value proposition vs. crafts with good taste and a relatively higher abv vs. most other mass market domestics. This is my new go-to beer in the winter: itís dark, affordable, tasty and goes down smooth. Doesnít pour with much head, either.
