Pours a dark brown with a strong reddish hue. Strong fruit aroma with citrus and sweet notes also. Sweet overall taste. Can barely taste the alcohol considering this is 12% by volume. Expected this to taste much stronger. Finishes with a bitter but dry sweetness. Great beer, overall. Definitely worth trying. Hard to believe it’s ranked at only 82%.

Jul 5, 2008 250 ml, no notches on bbe. Orange-copper with a two-finger head that settles to a nice frosting. Mostly clear except for some floaties. Brown sugar, caramel, raisin and apple aromas. Flavor is toffee, apple, cinnamon, alcohol and slight wood. Medium body is smooth. Finishes dry with some alcohol-tingle and chest warming. A tad too noticeable on the alcohol for me.

Jul 2, 2008 Botella. Pours a beautiful clear deep red-brown golden colour with a short lasting off-white head. Sweet malty, alco fruity aroma. Very good mouthfeel. The flavour is sweet with a pleasant deep maltiness, alcohol, some dark fruits, caramel and some spice. Tasty!

Jun 24, 2008 Orange amber color with a thin off white head. Sweet aroma with an alcohol note. Medium thick body, smooth and syrupy. Tastes of honey liqueur, butter, and caramel. Sweet and strong but I actually think its strength is hidden pretty well, I’ve had a lot worse. It is fairly simple though: sweet and alcohol.

does not count  Jun 20, 2008 Pours a clear cupper colour with a thin white head. Prominent taste of alcohol, with spicy caramel, honey and orange flavours. Nice finish. A good beer, but not great.
