Commercial Description:
It was created in 1933 by Alfred Dubuisson, grand-father of the present family brewer, Hugues. Its former name was "Bush Beer 24°" (the density in Ballings), but today it is known as Bush Amber. Its amber colour is due to the use of caramel malt in the production process. Its bitter sweet taste provides it with firmness and personality. What's more, it helps digestion.

12 oz bottle. Decent to nice lace...very belgian. Nose and flavor wrap up caramel, rich malts, warmth, toffee, and a lot of booze. A bit too strong on the alcohol...tough to drink. Was best at room temp.

Pours a dark brown with a strong reddish hue. Strong fruit aroma with citrus and sweet notes also. Sweet overall taste. Can barely taste the alcohol considering this is 12% by volume. Expected this to taste much stronger. Finishes with a bitter but dry sweetness. Great beer, overall. Definitely worth trying. Hard to believe it’s ranked at only 82%.

25cl bottle from World of Beer Clearwater. Pours a cloudy clear amber with a thick frothy head that dissipates quickly but provides nice lacing on the glass. Aroma: Malt, caramel, hints of spiciness and yeast. Flavor: Silky mouthfeel, little carbonation, tastes strongly of alcohol (both throughout and on finish), notes of caramel and honey, some spice. Interesting Belgian Amber.

Very strong ale from Belgium. Great smell, with a sharp aftertaste! Nice colour (amber) too.

Bottle. Aroma a little weak. Malt maybe some spices. Amber colour with medium off white head. Taste strong alcoholic, malt a lot of sweetnies and a little hopp bitterness in the end.

Draught at TDR EX: Aroma is sweet. Smells of fruit, caramel, berries, and apples. Poured amber/copper in color with a virtually no head. Clear. Not sparkling. Tastes of apples, caramel, and alcohol. Medium body. Sticky texture. Average carbonation. Dry finish.

Bottle. Orange in color. Little head. Sweetness and alcohol in the aroma. Definitely alcoholic in the taste along with fruitiness, sweet, and malty. Full bodied.

WOW, great beer. Aroma is slight butterscotch, pour is amber with a thin flat head. Flavour is burnt toffee, brown sugar and finishes with some good strong bitterness. The ABV is very high at 12% but it carries it off, there is a bit of heat in this, but not massively unpleasant like so many other beers that I have had that go above the 10% ABV range.
