It was created in 1933 by Alfred Dubuisson, grand-father of the present family brewer, Hugues. Its former name was "Bush Beer 24°" (the density in Ballings), but today it is known as Bush Amber. Its amber colour is due to the use of caramel malt in the production process. Its bitter sweet taste provides it with firmness and personality. What's more, it helps digestion.

It pours murky copper with orange highlights; the head is beige and mousse-like. The aroma has notes of: toffee, candied apricots, and fruit cake. The taste is medium heavy sweet with a slight bitterness; there are notes of: hazelnut, fruit cake, plums, and alcohol. The palate is medium full bodied, has light carbonation and a long finish. Overall, the flavourful profile is correct - but the complexity is boring.

Pours a copper with a nice head. Aroma notes include fruity esters, alcohol, and caramel. Tasting notes include esters, apple, pear, apricot. Boozy, high carbonation, and butterscotch. Finish is slightly bitter and smooth, with a faintly cloying aftertaste.

Bottled. An amber coloured beer which pours with hardly any head. The aroma is full of warming alcohol and buttery fruity smoothness. The taste is extremely pleasant, masking the alcohol content well. There is a similarity IMO to many good English barley wines with a butterscotch smoothness in the mouth and a sweet hoppiness. This is a truly wonderful beer.

0,33 l hana @ Alchemister Salzburg. Pronssinruskea kirkas. Tuoksussa rommirusinaa, makeaa mallasta. Maku lyhyesti: huhhuh! Pidemmin: Säilöttyä hedelmää, mallasta, rommia, liikaa makeutta, aivan liikaa alkoholia. Phuh..
