COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It was created in 1933 by Alfred Dubuisson, grand-father of the present family brewer, Hugues. Its former name was "Bush Beer 24°" (the density in Ballings), but today it is known as Bush Amber. Its amber colour is due to the use of caramel malt in the production process. Its bitter sweet taste provides it with firmness and personality. What's more, it helps digestion.

Aroma is sweet malty with some alcohol, an almost seem vinegar. Taste is not vinegar, but sweet like a wee heavy. Appearance is a dark cloudy red/brown with a small white head. Palate has a good thickness with a great amount of froth.

Pours amber, lacy white head. Smells of alcohol, sugar, caramel, spices, citrus. Lots of flavors: cherries, cinnamon, black licorice, meringue. Cream, toffee, spices, candy sugar. Big body, some linger.

Honestly, I should have tried this out of a Chimay type glass but I didn’t...so I found this particular ale to be a wee bit tarty on the tongue to start combined with a smell that let u know it was there and that it was strong...overall not trrrble but not on par with the likes of Chimay.

Yellow and red fruits aroma with a nice copper robe and a nice and distinguished head. Taste is peaches and syrup with some alcohol heat. A nice sipper that lives on its own schedule, sometimes it feels horrible and sometimes it is terrible. It contrasted quite nicely with the Angels Share we had just prior to it.

Bottle. Aroma of malts, caramel and alcohol. Taste has a strong alcohol bite, as would be expected from the content. A bit roasted, notably has some caramel and toffee with a nice overall sweetness. Burns a bit but is pretty smooth, definitely love this one! 12% abv.
