COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It was created in 1933 by Alfred Dubuisson, grand-father of the present family brewer, Hugues. Its former name was "Bush Beer 24°" (the density in Ballings), but today it is known as Bush Amber. Its amber colour is due to the use of caramel malt in the production process. Its bitter sweet taste provides it with firmness and personality. What's more, it helps digestion.

Dark amber colour, small white head. Aroma sweetish, raisins, caramel, ripe fruit, spicy yeast tones. Alcoholic tones, but relatively well hidden for it’s ABV. Flavour sweet, malty, rich caramel and dark fruit tones. Rather sticky. Alcoholic finish.

Pours a cloudy golden hue with almost no head. Has sweet malty aromas. Initial sweet attack which warms to a sweet and strong alcohol finish. Very sweet brew.

Amber body, white head. Arom has grainy malt, perfume, sugar and alcohol. Flavour has too strong alcohol. Doesn’t leave any room for rest of the beer’s flavours. didn’t like.

Bottle 33cl, a clear amber beer with medium head. Nose is caramel like, hopy and very alcoholic like. Body is sweet, caramel like, very peppery hops, very alcoholic, not much interesting beer, very over rated.

The aroma has some caramel, toffee and a slight hint of chocolate. An overall very sweet and highly entertaining beer. It is often described as the Belgian beer with the highest alcoholic percentage but seems to hide the alcohol very well.

Slightly burnt caramel in the aroma while the flavor is similar to caramel hard candy. A very, very good Belgian Ale.
