Commercial Description:
It was created in 1933 by Alfred Dubuisson, grand-father of the present family brewer, Hugues. Its former name was "Bush Beer 24°" (the density in Ballings), but today it is known as Bush Amber. Its amber colour is due to the use of caramel malt in the production process. Its bitter sweet taste provides it with firmness and personality. What's more, it helps digestion.

Clear golden color with a thin white head. Sweet and alcoholic, bitter and somewhat thin. seems like the brewers main goal was the 12% not the taste. Its ok but the lower % Belgiums are much better

Actually, "Scaldis" is the label for the US market due to AB (Budweiser) being paranoid and flexing their legal muscle. Somehow they think that Americans can’t distinguish between the names "Bush" and "Busch." Typical of their arrogance. However, this is a nice warming ale- a good nightcap; to take to bed while reading a good book! If you are a cigar afficionado, this would be excellent with a Cohiba or a Macanudo.

Orange amber. Totally filtered. White foam. Excellent aroma, notes of apricots. Sweet taste, bitter aftertaste, some alcoholic, after all, it has 12º . Thin almost like water. Note:Labeled "Scaldis" instead "Bush", I’ve been informed that Bush is the name for USA, but it’s the same beer.

Pours clear and light orange with a small rocky white head. Aroma is lightly malty moderatly hoppy with hints of pine and oranges yeasty with hints or cheese. Flavor starts lightly sweet and moderatly bitter finish is a bit sour with an avrage duration. Medium bodied dry and creamy, livley. Nice brew

Pours a thick golden amber color w/ a medium sized semi creamy froth that settles at a moderate pace. Super full nectar w/ soft residual effers. Aroma is rich w/ sweet malt. Flavors are sweet cramel, apple, vanilla, stone fruit, with slight tobacco. This brew has a long peach pit bittering on the finish to wipe away the sugar leaving you ready for another sip. Overall: This is a desert style strong ale with complex features that surpass others in it’s genre. If you’re a fan of the barley wine style, highly recommended this brew.
