COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It was created in 1933 by Alfred Dubuisson, grand-father of the present family brewer, Hugues. Its former name was "Bush Beer 24°" (the density in Ballings), but today it is known as Bush Amber. Its amber colour is due to the use of caramel malt in the production process. Its bitter sweet taste provides it with firmness and personality. What's more, it helps digestion.

APPEARANCE - Peachy orange, slightly opaque. Creamy, light brown, 4-finger head that lasts, with lots of lacing SMELL/AROMA - A little sweet, piney. TASTE - Quite sweet, fruity, Sherry-like, and mildly piney. ABV fairly well-hidden. MOUTHFEEL/PALATE/TEXTURE - Surprisingly well-carbonated, thick and a bit syrupy. OVERALL - A very well balanced Tripel. The sweetness works, and the ABV doesn’t hit you. Quaffable, but not chuggable. Do not limit this to dessert only.

Helder donker geel/oranje bier met schuim. Smaak is zoet en kruidig, caramel, sinaasappel en appel. Blijft lang hangen. Geweldig goed bier.

Pours clear amber with a 1 finger head that doesn’t last too long. Aroma of sweet caramel and malts. Taste is sweet, toffee, bread, very light citrus, quite boozy yet enjoyable, peppery sensation on the tongue in the finish. Medium bodied. Pretty good.

Esagerata.

Clear amber color, average sized off white head. Full body, soft carbonation. Rich, creamy texture. Aroma is malts, yeast, spices, caramel. Medium sweet taste. Finish is long and it leaves sticky feeling. I’m very much impressed with this one.

@ John’s Grocery / Iowa City IA --- Cloudy amber brown with lots of fine sediment, head that quickly reduces to the rim, no lace. Taste is strong caramel malt with mown hay and light spices. Alcohol is obvious in the swallow, along with light bitters to balance. A big brew, but not very satisfying for me.
