Created in June 1998, Bush Blond is obviously a discovery in the strong blond ales market in which it will undoubtedly play a major role. It has a light and glistering colour. Hugues Dubuisson who is the current brewer wanted it to be worthy of the famous Bush Amber and gave it the same nice aroma and flavour.

Una strong ale molto buona. Decisamente alcolica, ma rispetto alla sorella maggiore ambrata è meno strutturata e con corpo medio. Più beverina

Bottle from de Bierschuur in Poppel. The beer has a golden/blonde color and a large white head, with a lot of bubbles. The aroma consists of the sweetness of fruits and honey, also a little yeast and a little citrus. The taste is well balanced, yeasty, fruity with some hops in the background. Sweet and the alcohol is very present. The finish is warming, a little alcoholic and a light bitterness makes it complete. A little to strong for me. Too much alcohol noticable in the taste, but further not a bad beer.

UPDATED: MAR 3, 2015 Bottle, 33cL. Home. A golden orange beer with some yeast sediments ; medium white head with a medium retention. Fruity aroma (citrus), light biscuit, herbs. Medium sweet, warming. Medium body, thin silky texture, average to soft carbonation, warming finish. Overall, OK, drinkable but a bit disappointed : 1-dimensional.
10/20/2014. 1/2 bottle, 33cL. A clear golden orange beer, few bubbles. Big white head witha poor retention. Fruity aroma (peach), floral, alcohol. Medium to heavy sweet. Warming. Full body, medium texture, good carbonation, sweet warming finish. Overall, warming (a bit too much for me). Hot !! 1/2 bottle is enough ! 7-3-4-3-10

15/VIII/14 - on tap @ Internationaal Streekbierenfestival (Zwevegem) - BB: n/a (2014-905) Thanks to Johan and Fokke for sharing today’s beers!

Clear blond to light orange beer, creamy white head, pretty stable, bit adheisve. Aroma: very malty, grains, some grass, yeasty touch. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet sugary start, overripe banana, alcohol, something off, sourish touch. Aftertaste: definitely something off, banana, little sour, citrus.

The younger, blonde sister of the famous Bush Ambrée, with cream white, irregular, thin head and deep golden blonde colour with warm orange shade. Somewhat bizarre, bit smoky aroma, caramel, mango, cork, whisky, cookie dough, vanilla, orange peel, cloves, gin. Sweetish onset, honeyish, then evolving into a light smokiness, bit woody, quickly dominated by a warming, brandy-like alcohol that dominates the rest of the palate, though a mild touch of hop bitterness also appears in the end. Weird brew, not sure what to think of it.
