3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Golden, hazy and a huge head. The aroma has notes of fruit and malt. The flavour is sweetish and very fruity, which makes it rather refreshing, and I think that apple is the most dominant together with a bit of orange. I also find notes of caramel, malt, flower and honey, and I do not at all find the alcohol in the flavour, but this beer has been matured a few years. Nice.

On tap at the Pianeta Birra, Rimini, Italy.
From a nice 150ml Bush flute. Pours a honey yellow coloured with small head, perfumy fruity nose. The aroma is also very fruity, spicy and malty with notes of yeast and sugar. Obvious alcohol presence and sharp alcoholic finish. 10%ABV

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
25 cl bottle, ’bbe’ June 07. Light amber and almost perfectly clear. A layer of large bubbles partially covers the inside of the glass, the small white head quickly dissipates. The aroma is of fruit (a hint of thick apricot jam), yeast and alcohol. Malty, light fruity taste with alcohol quite obvious and a sherry-like finish. Medium bodied with a very warming mouthfeel.

I have been to the brewery but I bought this at John’s Market in Portland. Oranges and tangerines that is what I got. All their beers have a lot of booze and are not session beers.Page 94 of Michael Jackons’s Great Beer Guide only 445 more Classic Brews to go.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. (Thanks oh6gdx). Hazy orange in colour, minor white head, lacings. The aroma is yeasty and fruity.. You can sense some alcohol as well. The flavour is fruity and a bit yeasty.. You can sense the alcohol.. But I don’t thik that you can taste it... Doesn’t that sound logical?

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. Slightly hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruit, caramel, malts and hops. Flavour is caramellish malts, slight "grassy alcohol" on the tongue, hides the ABV very well for being 10+. Aftertaste is grass and caramel.
