Created in June 1998, Bush Blond is obviously a discovery in the strong blond ales market in which it will undoubtedly play a major role. It has a light and glistering colour. Hugues Dubuisson who is the current brewer wanted it to be worthy of the famous Bush Amber and gave it the same nice aroma and flavour.

Soemhow I felt uncomfortambly much more alcohol in this one than in Bush Amber. Has an appearance of a czech pils, frothy, and later creamy head; sweet, long bitter finish. For me harsher and less complex than the Amber that I now know I prefer.

Bottle - Clear golden colour, medium sized white head, average retention and lacing. Fruity and yeasty nose with some peach, apples, orange, sugar, some citrus. Taste is sweet fruity, stenfruits, grapes, candies, some bananas, low hops in the end. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, spicy finish. Alcohol is well masked. Nice ant typical belgian strong ale, but it should be more complex at this strength.

backlog rating. cloudy golden pour with a white head. dried fruits, yeast, and a big alcohol spice notice. burned rubber almost, citrus, and old wet grass. herbal noes. coriander. all they can do is make high alcohol beers that taste like nothing. bleh

Bottle from Yamaya. Aromas of sugar, grain, overripe stone fruit, some citrus, yeast, and fumes. Hazy medium straw color. Fruity initial, and then intensifies into notes of berries, stone fruit, and even some umami-like bits, and small spice. Medium-heavy body. Hides the alcohol very well.

Gylden og ravfarvet samt meget boblende Belgian Strong Ale med pæn hvid tætskummende top på et par cm, svindende til 1/2 cm. Fersken, abrikos og anden eksotisk frugt i aromaen. Tydelig frugtdomineret. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

BOTTLE 33 CL. Clear deep golden (with some floaties), white head. Aroma of sweet sugary fruit or fruit liqueur, with some alcohol. The taste is sweet - simple sugary/malty sweetness with notes of fruit liqueur. Big warming alcohol, quite clean for its strength. Light bitter finish. Not bad, but too simple for its strength, that does not seem to worth it.

Yeast aroma off the bottle. A faint bubblegum shade. High ABV is dominant. Too strong and not much else to go on.

330ml bottle. Clear deep golden color. Medium size, white head, stays. Looks good. Grainy, faint fruity, bit of minerals and straw in aroma. Fruity, chunky hard caramel, some sugar and lots of straw in taste. Soft crisp mouthfeel. Alcohol is surprisingly well hidden, thou I can feel the burn. Quite well done brew.

Clear golden body, big white head. Aroma of honey, fruits (apricot?), spices and alcohol. Flavour is quite similar with a good malt backbone. At the first sip alcohol is too forward, then my palate got used too and the whole became more balanced. Medium sweet alcohlic finish. Medium-full body, medium carbo. Good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
