COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Created in June 1998, Bush Blond is obviously a discovery in the strong blond ales market in which it will undoubtedly play a major role. It has a light and glistering colour. Hugues Dubuisson who is the current brewer wanted it to be worthy of the famous Bush Amber and gave it the same nice aroma and flavour.

Soemhow I felt uncomfortambly much more alcohol in this one than in Bush Amber. Has an appearance of a czech pils, frothy, and later creamy head; sweet, long bitter finish. For me harsher and less complex than the Amber that I now know I prefer.

From BA (Sept 2007). This 25cl brown bottle with its posh gold topage has been sat in my garage for over a year. I moved it to my fridge three days ago. I was horrified to discover it was out of date, I should have drunk it before 27 July 2007. Never mind it is only a couple of months. The bottom of the beer (while still in the bottle) had a scummy cloud moving about, I tried to keep its movement to a minimum, but particles floated upwards even before I even opened it. I poured it into my huge ’Judas’ glass, as I wasn’t sure how emotional the beer would be after being released. I poured it as slowly as i could to try and prevent too much sediment hitting the glass. I did a fairly good job, but no head appeared at all, just a very thin collar around the glass. The colour was light orange, blood grapefruit skin, if you like. Only a little cloudy, but I did pour slowly remember. It didn’t look very appetising at all. The aroma was all yeast and alcohol, cooking apples mixed in. Taste is better than I was expecting, sour and very alcoholic. Plenty of life even though there was no head. Of course the alcohol stays in the mouthfeel, but so does the sourness, this is a better beer than it looks. Even though the taste is good, I also drink with my eyes. When you consider other beers within this style (Duvel etc) and how beautiful they can look with their large heads and golden bodies, this just doesn’t come up to the picture my eyes want to see.

Hazy blond with some massive chunks of residue whizzing around the glass. Aroma is bready and malty. Flavour is quite sweet and a little bit yeasty. A bit spicing and numbing on the tongue.

Courtesy of Armando629, thanks! Egészen világos, citromsárga színű sör, ami opálosan lassan gomolyogva pihen a poharunkban. Remek!

0,75 l bottle called Bush Blonde Triple.
Cloudy pale golden/yellow beer with a nice creamy white head that melts down to a small lacing white one. Aroma opens slowly, when the beer gets warmer and warmer the spicies arrives. Elegant beer with coriander, belgian yeast, some honey, green apples both in aroma and flavor. Very pleasant.
