4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 Papsoe (22987) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 20, 2005
UPDATED: JUN 6, 2005 (Bottle 25 cl) A few years ago Dubuisson launched this slightly weaker variation of Bush Beer. They named it Bush Blonde and at the same time renamed the original 12% Bush Beer to Bush Ambrée. I believe a 7% Bush still exists as well as the juicy Bush Noël.
Color is blonde - of course - with a lot of yeast sediment. Extremely fruity and fresh despite the large alcohol volume. Very distinctive and aromatic ale. But is to be enjoyed in small portions. 220902

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 oh6gdx (16047) - Vasa, FINLAND - DEC 28, 2006
Bottled. Slightly hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruit, caramel, malts and hops. Flavour is caramellish malts, slight "grassy alcohol" on the tongue, hides the ABV very well for being 10+. Aftertaste is grass and caramel.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 omhper (15956) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - APR 6, 2004
UPDATED: JUN 9, 2004 Sampled draught at Akkurat, Stockholm.
Hazy golden. Peppery pineapple aroma. Fruity and quite sweet with dense malt profile. I get red berries and alcohol, but it's foremost assett is the dense salty maltiness. Complex but short flavour followed by licorice bitterness.

Bottle. Aroma of fresh fruit, green apples. Hint of metal. Quite clear golden colour, floaties in the bottom of the bottle. Small white head. Peppery flavour with a little hint of bad, strong lager. The alcohol in this beer is much nicer, however.Peppery finish, warms all the way down to your gut.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 fiulijn (10383) - Como, ITALY - FEB 20, 2004
Blond color. Sweet aroma, with alcohol, some fruitness (light banana). Some sweetness, some malt, maybe still too much alcohol. Quite strong final (alcoholic as well). Professional brewing of a bad idea; not complex.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Dedollewaitor (10292) - Odense, DENMARK - OCT 29, 2007
Cloudy orange with a handsome white lasting creamy head & lacings. Aroma is mild - malty/spicy. The alcohol is hard to trace at first. Smooth, soft, creamy & warming in the end. Very well balanced for its ABV especielly. Long end. Impressed.. another fine Bush beer!
