COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Created in June 1998, Bush Blond is obviously a discovery in the strong blond ales market in which it will undoubtedly play a major role. It has a light and glistering colour. Hugues Dubuisson who is the current brewer wanted it to be worthy of the famous Bush Amber and gave it the same nice aroma and flavour.

Simply Superb!!! Fantastic golden color with a lovely head. Taste is fruity and nice array of spices, the taste comes through very nicely considering the ABV. A must Have!!!

Fat nose for a blond - or any beer for that matter: caramelly and spicy. Clean gold color and a lacy frothy head. Fruity (apples) tastes with a hint of spices in the middle and a chalky dry finish. Round and full mouth fell, but a blunt profile that ends quickly. Fantastic overall.

NOt really that exciting, but anyway. ORange like fine tree, and really good foam, a little alcoholic, but very tasty.

Amber with a medium head cloying to the glass. The aroma is surprisingly rich, sugar cane, raisins, like of an well-aged beer. Sweet flavours, lots of raisins, still not over-sugary. Full-bodied. I thought this was the little brother of the Bush beer range, but it turns out to be maybe one of the most accomplished.

Clear blond, nice white head in original glass. Fruity bonbons aroma, oily body, fine carbonation. Palate of apricots, pears, pale malts, decent but clear alcohol. Dry fruity finish. B@H

UPDATED: JUN 6, 2005 (Bottle 25 cl) A few years ago Dubuisson launched this slightly weaker variation of Bush Beer. They named it Bush Blonde and at the same time renamed the original 12% Bush Beer to Bush Ambrée. I believe a 7% Bush still exists as well as the juicy Bush Noël. Color is blonde - of course - with a lot of yeast sediment. Extremely fruity and fresh despite the large alcohol volume. Very distinctive and aromatic ale. But is to be enjoyed in small portions. 220902

Orange and lemon aroma. Golden color, firm white head, very good lace. Sweet, light alcoholic, orange. More alcoholic finish and light hopbitter. Great smell, goods looks, nice taste, lots of alcohol but not too present. What more does a beerlover want?

The DM & Hotstuff’s European Honeymoon trip beer number 28. This draft brew from the Erasmus pub in Brugge poured a small sized head of finely sized mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a transparent yellow orange colored body and an excellent lacing. The aroma was vinous malty and strong while the mouth feel was also malty and vinous with a strong malty vinous alcohol flavor. This brew was very good and went down fast then delivered a great buzz. Drink with caution.

Draft at the Erasmus in Brugge, Belgium. Carbonated, yeasty and transparent body with a yellow hue. Excellent lacing. Malty and alcohol aroma as was the flavor. Mouthfeel was tingly with a burning sensation. Well worth a try.
