Sweet malty aroma with lots of fruits and some nutty notes and hints of Christmas spices. The flavor is quite complex, lots of red forest fruit, caramel, nuts, toffee and traces of chocolate. Dark amber poor with little or no head. Low carbonation. Aromas of caramel, butter, dates, prune, licorice and star anise. Taste of prune, cinnamon and oak. Long good bitter aftertaste with a cognac twist. Explosion of alcohol to the palate.
