3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours red brown with small quickly disappearing head. Faint caramel aroma. Sweet taste, lots of caramel, plenty of spices, raisins, pears. Alcohol is deceptively hidden and sneaks up on you. This is nice and quite complex but I prefer the Ambrťe, which also happens to be less sweet.

Cloudy brown color, thin off white head. Full body, creamy, thick texture, soft to average carbonation. Aroma is malts, dark fruits, caramel, marzipan, cinnamon, sugar, rum, hint of vanilla. Taste is sweet, but far from unpleasant high sweetness. Pleasant hoppy aftertaste came as a nice surprise. Alcohol is not noticeable, but it leaves very nice warm feeling. Very complex beer.
