COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a sweet beer with a pleasant flavour of hops. Indeed, for Bush de Noel, the brewer uses a traditional process which consists in placing hops flowers in the vats where the beer rests for four to six weeks by which time it will have reached full maturity, giving it a very distinctive taste. In the U.S the label generally reads Scaldis Noel.

Pours a deep, dark amber color with a lingering white head. A yeasty fruitiness to the nose. Tastes of yeast, hops, and a sort of molasses hint.

25 cl bottle. No way to tell how old this is, but its at least several years old. Pours a burnt darker orange amber color, with tons of big chunky yeast particles in the body. Thin off-white head, sort of khaki colored. Head soon fades to nothing. Dark fruit, light candy sugar in the nose. Mmm yes! Much better than expected. I was nervous about this going in, but its definitely good. Nice robust dark fruit, fruit cake like flavor. Some spice, but not too spicy. Impressive bigger bitterness, hardly any sweet - not at all cloying like I feared it would be. Alcohol is impressively well hidden, just a very light pleasant warmth after the aftertaste. Not as soft and over carbonated as a lot of belgian sting ales can be, this one is crisp and smooth right from the start. More dry finish, and bigger body. Surprisingly easy to drink and smooth belgian strong ale. Good nice nuttiness, hint of chocolate malt. Nice light raisin, light spice, and complex dark fruit aroma. Much better than expected. Great winter warmer. One of the better belgian noel beers Ive tried.

Egregiamente nascosto l alcool, siamo su ottimo livelli. Il finale altres amaricante ed astringente.. Bellissima birra natalizia.l

Really sweet cherry taste but still a deep complex beer. Im quite a fan of Belgian strong fruity beers like the red Kasteel and this one is a really interesting take on the style. Would recommend it !

Bottle BB Nov 2014 as Bush Noel. Dark red, clear, sparkling, large foamy off-white head, thick lacing. Smell - sweet cherry, malts, slight coffee? Body - medium, foamy, carbonation is fairly low. Taste - liquorice, spice, paper, slightly sharp, sweetness is well integrated. Alcohol comes through strongly, giving this beer a vodka-like flavour. OK.

It poured a rusty amber color with a nice thick beige head. The aroma was sweet and bready with some peppers and spices. The taste was alcoholic, spicy and peppery with a sweet, bready maltiness throughout. It had a medium body with a good deal of carbonation. Enjoyable.

Bottle 330 ml at home, poured into a tulip glass. ABV 12% Deep amber brown colour on the body, with lots of slow and continuous activity in it. Small off-white head on top, with very good retention, leaving light lacing around the glass and thick foam islands on the beers surface. Aroma of dark fruits, caramel, malts, light alcohol after every swirl of the glass. Taste is sweet with plenty of dark fruits, caramel, light toffee, lots of alcohol that also offers a light burn on the tongue and throat, light hops on the finish, ripe pears. Medium thin body, good carbonation. Sticky palate. Overall tasty beer, in spite of its high alcohol drinks very good.
