Jun 19, 2009 Bottle. Pours a mahogany body with a tan head. Chocolate malt, etoh latent fruit and a light variety of spices. Dried fruit and pepper corn. Nice brew, that well leaves you feeling rather nice.

May 26, 2009 25 cl bottle. Pours a hazy golden brown with a thin off-white head that lasted until mid-glass and left scant lace. Pleasant aroma of malt, molasses, rum and bananas. The flavor is basically the same as the aroma with sweet malt, molasses, rum and bananas. A bit of harsh alcohol in the finish. An interesting beer, although probably not something I’d revisit at $3.99/bottle.

May 5, 2009 25cl Bottle. Unclear reddish amber colour, off white head. Aroma of butterscotch, toffee, alcohol, some raisin and rum. Flavour is butterscotch, rum, alcohol, some brown sugar. Light alcohol bitter finish. Medium bodied. Too boozy and buttery for me, lacks some complexity for such a big beer.

May 4, 2009 Hazy red/brown color with a small disappearing head. Aroma: hops, alc, raisin, toffee, raisin. Taste: Very good balance, sweet toffee with a little burning alcohol and quite a lot of bitterness to balance it. I really like it.

Apr 2, 2009 Deep amber with lots of carbonate, little to no head.
Nice body for the strength, medium and carbonated.
Not a lot of aroma, what I smell I am not too impressed with. A little dishwash water/wet wool like.
Well balanced initially, malt not too prominent, but alcohol extremely heavy in aftertaste. Little hop to balance.
Too much alcohol burn for my taste.
Purchased in Metro, Glostrup for 17dkr.

Mar 21, 2009 Pours with a murky amber hue with a small white head that is mostly diminishing.
Aroma to this beer is incredible! Dark fruits, metal, caramel malt, and lots of alcohol - rum especially!
Sweet beginning and middle to the beer, and a fruity ending with hints of alcohol. The fruity taste lingers in the mouth for a little while after. Very satisfied indeed with the flavor of this brew.
Medium mouth feel with light carbonation.
Definitely going to look for this beer again at some point! It has a smooth taste. At first glances this beer might look timid and kind. It doesnt taste like a 12% ABV beer at all - more like a 5-7%. So dont let the taste fool you!

Mar 16, 2009 25 cl bottle - shared with Roger in hotel room in Århus. Amber color, fine beige head. Aroma is fruity, sweet malt and alcohol. Flavor is lovely sweetness and malt, fruit. Alcohol is present, but also well hidden. A big beer!

Mar 14, 2009 Bottle via trade. Dark brown colour with amber higlights and a medium tan head. Aroma of caramel malt, dark fruit and some rum. Flavour starts out sweet, then hits some spice and Belgian yeast. Finshes a little hot but nothing like I expected from the 12ABV.
