750 ml bottle at home. Taken from notes. Pours amber red/brown with a quickly dissapearing off-white head. Lots of alcohol in the nose, next to arom’s of caramel and bread/malts. Full body with high sweetness level, immediately overtaken by the alcohol, burning the throat. A bit off balance.

Bottle@home, 250 ml. Head: beige. Colour: clear, amber. Aroma: hops, spices (coriander). Taste: medium bitter-sweet. Palate: oily bitter-sweet alcohol finish, medium CO2. Overall: nice, a bit too sweet.

Nic rubbish color. Aroma of caramel and maybe a little belgian yeast. Taste of caramel, raisins and belgian yeast. A little burning alcohol in the finish. A belgium barley wine.

botlle @ home. Non male anche se luppolato per essere una natalizia il profumo. lascia trasparire aromni di spezie tipo cannella , oltre allo zenzero ed al candito. Schiuma biaqncastra e birra color rame quasi trasparente. La carbonatazione è medio alta. Il corpo è medio abbastanza oleoso. Gusto è di alcol , con luppolatura aromatica (agrumata) ben presente e un tenue caramello sul finale.

(bottle) pours a clear ruby-amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of vanilla, some light butter, bread dough, bubble gum, yeast, raisins, a hint of caramel and some herbal hops. flavour is mostly caramel and raisins, slightly doughy and sweet, with quite obvious notes of alcohol, some bread crusts, cherries and a light-bitter herbal-hoppy finish. heavy-bodied with average carbonation.

Head: off-white, medium, frothy, diminishing. Colout, dar red-brown and clear.
Aroma, grassy, sweet caramel, some alcohol. As it warms up, the aroma develops into something more delicate and fruity, yet still alcoholic.
Taste: sweet, dominated by spicy peppery alcohol, some bitterness.

Drought. Dark red color, small off-white foamy head, strong alcohol aroma mixed with sweet cherry taste, long finish. Not really making you think of cough syrup, but...

Dunkelbrauner Schädelspalter mit feinporigem Schaum. Blockmalzige Würze ist vernehmbar. Vollmundig und spritig im Antrunk, nur schluckweise trinkbar. Sehr würziger, malziger Geschmack, der aber auch eindimensional und langweilig ist. Der spritige Abgang mit wärmender Alknote behagt mir gar nicht. Weihnachten ist abgesagt.
