COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a sweet beer with a pleasant flavour of hops. Indeed, for Bush de Noel, the brewer uses a traditional process which consists in placing hops flowers in the vats where the beer rests for four to six weeks by which time it will have reached full maturity, giving it a very distinctive taste. In the U.S the label generally reads Scaldis Noel.

Drank in a sample glass so a decent smell was almost impossible. Aerating offered a lot of scent, so I'm giving it a decent score. No reading in head due to glass shape. Color - a pretty caramel color. Taste: Caramel, OMG so much caramel. Subtle fruity notes...apple perhaps? very malty Mouthfeel Full-bodied and creamy...very creamy. Compliments the flavor well. Could go well with spicy Asian cuisine. Drinkability is limited due to sugary sweetness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, herbs, sweet dark fruits, candy sugar. Flavour is heavy sweet with a light bittersweet finish. Cloying and sticky. Slightly boozy, but the high ABV is relatively well-hidden. I can see its appeal, but this way too sweet for my taste.

Clear amber color beer, low carbonation. Taste fruity, booze, caramel. Afthertaste is herbs and sweet alcohol.

33 cl, flaske, 12,0 % ABV, BB 20/10/2016, købt i Belgisk Bryg i Emdrup, 21. december 2014. Mahognifarvet og ufiltreret Belgian Strong Ale med fin let flygtig offwhite-farvet skumkrone på 3-4 cm. Svinder smukt og enkelt til knap 1 cm. Cognac-farvet modspil. Aroma af frugt og belgisk gæt. Figen, blomme, appelsin. Vinøs i indtrykket. Hvilken smag! Ingen surhed i smagen.

0.33l bottle. Clear amber color with small head. Very nice cherry smell. Aroma of cherry and caramel with alcohol present. You obviously cant hide 12% for long. Taste is sweet and fits nicely on the cold winter day.

With Z in Delray, at Coffee District , pours an amber rusty orange color. Nose is fruity and sweet. Taste is spicy and very floral and sweet. Finishes on the same tasting notes, dry with Z moderately long finish. Quaff Score 7 / 10

On tap at The Coffee District. Pours a cloudy orange with a white head and spicy aroma. Taste is full of spices, yeast, and light floral notes into the spicy, Belgian yeasty finish.

Pours clear amber with a finger of rocky head. Nose is fruity, cherry, marzipan, candy sugar. Taste is pretty unpleasant, like cherry cough syrup, very sweet, thick mouthfeel. Not my cup of tea.

11.2 oz bottle poured into chalice. Aroma is a little hoppy, slight fruits and some alcohol. No head to it at all, pours a deep Amber. Flavor is very hoppy with s creeping heat from the alcohol. Very potent, not my favorite Belgian Xmas.
