COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the Brasserie Dubuisson’s renowned Scaldis Prestige, Scaldis Prestige de Nuits is aged in oak barrels for six months. But Prestige de Nuits is made of Scaldis Noel aged in Bourgogne barrels from the world famous "Nuits St. Georges" vineyard. The result is an ale of extraordinary complexity and depth.

Bush de Noël, ripened for 7 months on wine casks from Burgundy (Nuits-St.-Georges).

Decent golden with a firm sediment like they’re in orbit. Sweet, rich almost sweetcorny fruitness. Lovely sweet, clean and neat. This is superb.

Bottle, February Tasting, Cheers Craig.

Bottle shared with friends. Pours a near headless, amber beer. Aroma is very vineous, Port, some booze and oak. Flavor is medium sweet, slight alcoholic and thick mouthfeel. Definitely some oaky touches are present in the aftertaste. Very nice beer.

UPDATED: APR 22, 2014 75cl bottle shared in a Trappist glass. Pours a less than clear reddish colour with a good head. Aroma is sweetness and alcohol. The taste is almost winelike and suggestions of the oak barrels with an aftertaste of overripe apples. Hides it ABV almost too well - you would never guess this was 13%. Wonderful. If you can find it try it.

Bottle, vintage 2010. Pours hazy dark golden with sediments, with a finger thick creamy head. Aroma is roasted malts and kandi, as well as sweet fruity notes of canned cherries with honey and heathery spices. Full creamy body with average carbonation. Flavour is sweet with roasted malts, as well as fruity yeast with some sour notes of apples and cherries finishing off with vanilla and oak barrels. Well hidden alcohol.
