GarethYoung (1108), Glasgow, Scotland Jan 10, 2006 [LCRBM] unfortunatly team scotland left for dinner shortly before this was opened and when we returned there wasnt much left to steal :P
what we did drink, however, was class. sweet malty aroma, caramel, raisins, vanilla, some fruit. full bodied, alcohol present and warming, but still well concealed concidering its a pretty hefty 13%. skortila (2343), Bunnik, Netherlands Nov 11, 2005 [RBG Low Countries 2005] Aroma of caramel malts, quite smooth. Very fruity, champaign like (yeast) Hints of anise. Hazy, orange coloured with an off-white, thin head. Taste is smooth, caramel malty, raisins, fruits and some woodiness. Very complex. Alcohol is relatively well-hidden and warming. After a month i can still remember it’s great taste. :) Thanks John. duff (5402), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Nov 2, 2005 Bottle. Sweetish. With dark fruit and raisin notes. Oaky vanilla characters, definitely something spirity about it, slight brandy notes, with some warming alcohol from start to finish. Quite well balanced and in many ways similiar to the Bush Prestige. Magic_dave6 (3409), Glasgow, Scotland Oct 18, 2005 No#64. I managed to squeeze the last out of the magnium shared at the kulminator, with some good fellows from holland thanks guyz! Aroma seems to have quite a bit of rasberry in it, with the alcohol being present also. Taste is similar with dark fruits coming in. Palet is great very smooth, though i expected quite fizzy.
