Bottle with Scaldis on the label. This is fairly dark golden and has a nice active off white head. The aroma is almost all peach as is the flavor. Some malts are there, too. A hint of caramel. Somehow apples are also tasted and alcohol is noted. However, I look at the ABV and am surprised to see it is 8.5%.

(bottle) pours a clear deep amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of cactus juice, peaches and caramel, with a hint of alcohol, herbal hops and light raisins. flavour is mostly the same, though quite alcoholic, with only a faint hint of peaches and some herbal hops. heavy-bodied with lively carbonation.

Aroma is peaches, spritzy yeast and slightly gritty/earthy malts. The flavor is caramel malts, peaches, mild tartness and a mild/medium alcoholic finish. Kind of an odd flavor to it, mixing a lambic and a Belgian ale made it different but not great.

February 2013. On top at Max’s in Baltimore. Orange color with a white head. The peach flavors are very defined and blends nicely with the hops. Very refreshing.

Medium, almost clear orange amber, very slight head. Aroma is toffee and caramel, booze, and peach. Flavor is lightly peach, some gentle caramel malts, and a touch of booze on the finish, less than expected considering the alcohol bomb on the nose. In the end, the booze is just out of balance here. Not bad, but not great either.

At tripel via keg. Very lovely golden color, with no head and no lacing, very little carbonation. Heavy peach /apricot, sweet aroma. Taste is very fruity with little hop, well hidden alcohol, and not much complexity beyond the fruit. Very interesting and different, but could have been tastier and more complex.

Sehr süßes und künstliches Pfirsich Aroma - Haribo läßt grüßen! Sirupartige Textur. Im Geschmack erstmal nur klebrig süß, dann kommt der synthetische Fruchtgeschmack, bevor es im Abgang alkoholisch warm wird. Ein Damenbier; ich passé.

Bottle: Sweet, light artificial apricot aroma. Light sweet peach and apricot aroma, candy, sweetness. Flavor is medium sweet, very fruiy, sweet apricot flavor balanced by a bitter almond and herbal hop notes.
