1.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
11.2 oz bottle, aged at least 1 year, likely longer and served in a Bells Tulip: Slightly hazed coppery amber hue with a fading head and not much lace. The aroma is heavy candy corn and sugar smack cereal wrapped with reduced peach and cinnamon compote. Nothing else is detectable other than a sprig of dill and cheap canned tomatoes (WTF? Really?). The taste is completely artificial syrupy peach, bubblegum and plastic overtones. YUCK! no really DOUBLE YUCK! This is pathetic and needs cut in half by a light hoppy Saison to make it even remotely drinkable. 1/2 Lambic my arse, I call bullshit. The worse beer I had in 2012 so far.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Thought this beer was much better than this rating indicates. Light peach sweetness. Nice crisp finish. Tried with a peach crepe at Darios with Jess in 2015.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Clear orange amber colour lasting cream coloured head. Peach and apricot aroma. It’s clearly a higher abv than the 3% ones I’ve been knocking back recently. Aroma is attractive. Flavour is fairly genuine and not overly sweet. Some bite on the finish. Pretty decent I thought.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
330 ml bottle. Slightly hazy tawny amber color. Small creamy white head. Aroma is all peach. Flavor is more peach and earthy yeast. Some boozy sweet flavor in midtaste. Warming alcohol when you swallow. As the brew warms, the complexity evolves as does the Lambic character. Some bitterness comes through in the finish. Interesting, though a little to cloying for my liking.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Clear orange amber beer, medium white head. Nose is peaches, sugar. Flavor is more of the same, sweet, almost cloying peaches, mild fruity acidity in the finish along with booze. Drinkable, but boozy and overly sweet and fruity. Not for me.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from bottle into a chalice glass
Appearance – The beer pours a light hazy orange color with a billowy white head of white foam. The head has a fantastic level of retention, very slowly fading over time to leave a good sum of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is quite large of a peach smell mixed with some other fruits of an apricot and pear. Along with these aromas comes a rather strong smell of a yeasty smell with lots of grass, hay, and a light sour green apple smell. Overall it has a rather fruity sweet aroma.
Taste – The taste begins with a sweeter peach flavor mixed with a little bit of funky green apple taste. As the taste moves on other fruit flavors of apricot and peach join the tongue along with an increase in the tart a bit. All the while a little bit of a yeasty and grassy taste develops on the tongue with a rather stronger showing of a lemon flavor coming as well. With some earthy tastes and a bit of hay coming to the tongue at the end, one is left with a sweet peachy and slightly funked flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – For an 8.5 % brew the body of the beer is on the slightly thinner side with a carbonation level that is rather high. For the fruity and crisp nature of the beer along with the lighter sour and tart flavors, the feel is fantastic and makes for a very refreshing and flavorful feel overall.
Overall – This was a quite tasty and far too easy to drink fruit brew at 8.5 % abv. A nice peach flavored brew that was never too over the top and which has a great presence of fruit, sour, yeast, and grass/hay.

I thought this was a hefe when I bought it. Interesting peach Belgian ale. Aroma is awful BO. Taste is decent - but the sweetness of the peach interferes a bit with the Belgian Ale flavor.
