COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Bush Amber Triple is a traditional Bush Amber which has been bottle-refermented in a hot chamber during 3 weeks. Due to this refermentation, its bitter-sweet taste is even strenghened and its malted with nuts aromas more powerful. The beer is naturally cloudier. The Bush Amber is proposed in a luxury 75 cl embossed bottle with a champagne cork which, while keeping in line with the 25cl bottles, give them an incontestable qualitative style

75cl, new exclusive brew Anno 2008, from the brewery, complex brew, yet very heavy, cloudy, good head, good brew, more balanced than the regular Bush

750 ml bottle caged and corked. Hard to believe this only has 3 ratings. Poured amber with lots of floaties. Medium light beige head that was somewhat fizzy. Moderate alcohol aroma with yeast and a little fruit. Flavor is pretty alcoholic as well with yeast, fruit and a touch of bittering hops. Sweet at first getting more dry after the swallow. Slight medicinal. Good.

Very lively carbonation to good, cream-coloured, collapsing head over hazy red-amber beer, UFO-riddled. Warm alcohol nose, cookies; slightly iodine-shellfish aroma, and very roasted, as a roasted cake, flambéed with brandy. Alcohol, honey, amber malts, almonds and old hazelnuts. More roasted bitterness (restrained) than hoppy, but no burnt notes, no Maillard. Slightly medicinal, estery notes, and especially dried apricot, especially retronasal. Very creamy MF, despite the beer being alleviated by the constant carbonation, much livelier than the filtered version.
Overall: The creamy, yeasty MF and flavours completely change the data for this beer (brewery reps give an actual +1% ABV minimum), despite the apparent kinship.

At the KBW in Vichte (B). A hazy amber colored beer with a beige head. It disaprears rather quickly. The aroma is sweet malty and spicey. The taste is bittersweet, spicey and some nuts. A very good beer.

Interesting beer. Sampled at the Bier Passion in Antwerp on June 20th. Pours darker than your tipical tripel with more pronounced sweet malt and less pronounced grass. That being said, the beer struck a nice balance and the alcohol was well hidden. Very nice beer.
