The Bush Amber Triple is a traditional Bush Amber which has been bottle-refermented in a hot chamber during 3 weeks. Due to this refermentation, its bitter-sweet taste is even strenghened and its malted with nuts aromas more powerful. The beer is naturally cloudier. The Bush Amber is proposed in a luxury 75 cl embossed bottle with a champagne cork which, while keeping in line with the 25cl bottles, give them an incontestable qualitative style

Coppery colored with little yellow head. Fruity aroma with sweet caramel, medium alcohol comes up. Medium to full bodied. Flavor is pretty much the same, too much alcohol flavor for me in here.

Bottle. High fluffy and long lasting white head leaving nice long curtains. Hazy orange body. Alcohol caramel hay aroma. Sweet caramel candy flavor with a heavy carbonation and alcohol, not too much alcohol though. Low carbonation. Long sweet aftertaste. Too bad that the alcohol is so dominant in the aroma.

75cl bottle. The man who did up the front of my mother’s house got given this and he didn’t want it, so gave it to me instead. Thanks Steve, I can’t thank you enough. Hazy reddish amber, thick lasting beige head. Not a lot of aroma escapes that thick head, what does is a toffee/caramel mix. Lots of carbonation, but the malts are relatively soft in the mouth. The initial hit was toffeee and alcohol, but it does settle down a bit. Some heat on the end. Is it any good? Well the toffee malts are pretty good. Some hop on the end, but the sting feels more like carbonation than hoppy. Alcohol is a bit crude, especially on the finish. it’s a bit better than average.

Bottled (as Scaldis Refermentée). Hazy orange/amber. Sweet and caramelly. Fruity with lots of almonds and fierce peppery alcohol. Relaxed caramelly malt backbone balance the alcohol. Warming finish with valvetty caramel.

Tasting at Papsoe
Hazy amber color; big head. Positive: semi-sweet caramel flavor with a touch of almonds. Negative: too light aroma, too strong alcohol perception (mostly at the end), too simple. On the edge between good beer and booze. Not something that I’m going to run for.

750 ml bottle shared by toncatcher. Sweet and malty aromas. Fruit and bread. Flavors were more yeasty bread with fruit and touches of alcohol on the finish. Pretty good stuff.

Purchased at Rozi’s. Pour gave a heavy cream head on a hazy amber body. Aroma is a musty sugary peach aroma. There is a lot of the typical yeasty Belgian Scents that carry over to the flavor. There is some wheat-banana/peach flavors that comes in with a touch of spice. The alcohol shows up at the end making the viscous mouthfeel end with a sharp biting note.

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small and diminished white head. Spiced and vague butterish nose/alcohol dense. Solid spiced and dense alcohol flavoured on the back of the nose. Dry malty and slight wooden with a distinct alcohol warmth into the finish.
