750 ml bottle - tasted at home - taken from notes. Pours clear amber with a steady head. Aroma of mailt, nuts and caramel. Medium body but with considerable alcohol burn. Taste is malt, spices and nuts.

(Bottle, as "Scaldis Refermentée") Golden amber colour with brief, foamy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of apricots, peaches, almonds, orange peel, apple juice, esters and treacle. Fruity, malty taste with dried apricots, orange, almonds, marzipan, orange marmalade, brown sugar, caramel and a generous spicy bitterness in a finish with a certain alcohol glow. Almost full body, quite sweet. Sweetness is quite well balanced by the malt and the earthy, spicy bitterness. Very nice.

Bottle. Aged one-and-a-half year years. Big sweet caramelly aroma, some age is evident. Bright gold/amber. Massive sugary initial / alc. hits the pit of the stomach / smooth sweet warming finish. Medium body. Good stuff. A bit sweet and strong for my taste, but still an interesting tipple.

Bottled. Mineral, caramel nose, peach, esters. Amber colored with floaties. Sweet caramel flavor, fruity, tangy, alcohol. Good. Smoother than the smaller bottles.

A - pours hazy golden amber with high fluffy head with good retention, strong lacing. S - very bready, doughystrong aromas of fermenting apples and grapes up front, notes of cloves, winter spices, wet dog. M - nice round full bodied beer with a nice full palate. Nice alcohol warmed ending. Lingering fermented apples. Sticky sweet malty end. T - strong bready doughy notes, sticky buns. fermented apples strong throughout. Notes of white grape juice, caramel malts, cloves, orange zest, and soy sauce. O - nice round sticky but not overly so. Quite good. 3.3

Cloudy gold with small off-white head and light oily lacing. Aroma is malty with weak vinous notes and some banana. Flavor has nice maltyness and sweet bubblegum. Thick and oily, but really easy drinking for 12%

Flaske> Orange ravfarvet ’l med et stort skumhoved. Duften er let alkoholiseret og meget krydret. Smagen er igen domineret af alkohol men p[ den behagelige m[de hvor man hurtigt vender sig til den. Ok ’l.

Usually the Scaldis beers are too sweet with alot of alcohol presence. This is more balanced with a hop presence. Apple like nose. Candied sweet and booze, but a better counter of hops in the flavor. Not bad at all. Clean finish with a little bit of dryness.
