Cloudy gold with small off-white head and light oily lacing. Aroma is malty with weak vinous notes and some banana. Flavor has nice maltyness and sweet bubblegum. Thick and oily, but really easy drinking for 12%

Una gran bella bambina, da bersi per riscaldarsi con i suoi 12%, dolce e rilassante. Colore ambra scuro, poca schiuma. Molto alcolica e con tocchi di spezie.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
750 ml bottle shared by Tmoney99 (I believe) from old backlog notes. Pours a hazy copper brown color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet caramel malts, sweet fruits, apricots, dates, a noticeable nutty character, mild bitterness, this really keeps coming back to sweet, ok, but I’m glad I didn’t pay for it.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
amber colour, moderate sized off-white head, which lasts for several minutes; aroma of dried fruits (peach, some raisin), hints of apple, biscuit, caramel, wooden notes, earthy-wine cellar-like yeast, maybe some vanilla and alcohol; taste of raisin, peach, intensive malty sweetness, some apple and spicy alcohol; much more complex than the simple Bush Ambrée

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Refermented, 75 cl version of Bush Ambrée to celebrate the 75th birthday of the brand in 2008. Bottle shared with British Ratebeer editor in Ghent. Creamy, off-white, stable foam (the latter all the more so in view of the alcohol strength), colour a deep and pure amber with a lightly brownish hue, misty. Powerfully perfumed aroma of orange juice, honey, cider, whisky, cloves, gingerbread, lemon peel, white chocolate; sweet taste with medium carbonation, very citrussy fruity, soft and mellow maltiness (honey, caramel), subdued yeastiness with spicy notes, lots of warming, amaretto-like alcohol in the finish without becoming astringent. I’ve been an admirer of this brand for a long time and this is a nice treat to the fans.
