75cl bottle at home. Hazy yellow / orange with a medium white soapy head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Subtle sweet and bitter tones. Malts, yeast, hay, lemon, citrus and herbs. Not too good.

Frothmeister (674) - Ontario, CANADA - JAN 6, 2016
750ml bottle. In the cellar for 2.5 - 3 years. Pours amber with some SERIOUS sediment (even after the first pour) and an off-white head. On the nose sultana raisins, candy like notes, light honeydew melon, faint Belgian yeast, and light tangy apple. Taste wise, I think the cellar is responsible for the raisiny notes, with some alcohol, green apple, dried fruit into mineral bitterness, a light woody note, bready notes, and some alcohol in the finish. If I tasted this blindfolded, I would never guess tripel, as it has quite a few quad-like tastes going on. Maybe the age has added a new dimension to this, but I sure do enjoy it a lot more than the reviews say I should.

teorn88 (5143) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 29, 2015
75cl bottle at George Pub, Rimini. It pours a hazed golden color with a large white head. Aroma is bready and estery, lightly sweet with raisins and porto wine, then more dry with esters, yeasts and grass. Taste has more seet apricots upfront, then more bready estery dry notes. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, nicely balanced

KyotoLefty (8480) - Kyoto, JAPAN - NOV 2, 2015
Bottle from Yamaya. New import to Japo. Rich, malty nose, honey and biscuits, orange and lemon. Honey-looking deep gold with orange, medium head that quickly vanishes. Very sweet, thick, rich. Orange, peach, lemon, honey. Huge malt and quite a bit of alchol to balance. This is too young, but still pretty good. Heavy, syrupy, but so,eho works because of the Alcohol. Could be great with a year or so on it.

Beerheart65 (1228) - Pori, FINLAND - MAR 18, 2015
Bit hazy light amber, lots of sparkling, frothy white head, ok lacing patches. Interesting semisweet aroma with vinous notes, fruityness, bit red berries, distant grass, caramel malt, nuance and lively. Fizzy, sweet and bitter, alcohol is there mostly as warmth, belgian feel, berries again, long finish is complex, flowery tones also. Nuanced, lively, tasty, one with character.

LIght amber with rich white head. MIld aroma. Rich taste, but with quite strong touch of alcohol. Bitterness with strong sweet addition from the tongue middle and down.
