750 ml. bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden orange with a huge white head. Aroma of malt, fruit, yeast, and spice. Taste is similar. Good Tripel but there are many better.

Pours golden color with a medium head. Aroma of citrus fruits, yeast, goose berry bush, spices and toffee. Flavor is the same. Quite straightforward.

750 ml bottle into chalice, best before 2014. Pours cloudy golden amber color with a foamy 1 finger white head with decent retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of huge pear, apple, grape, apricot, peach, floral, pepper, grass, honey, candi sugar, bread, earth, and light yeast spiciness. Fantastic aromas with great complexity of fruity esters and balance of maltiness. Taste of big pear, grape, apple, apricot, peach, lemon, honey, floral, grass, bread, candi sugar, earth, light clove, and light yeast spiciness. Lingering notes of light fruits, honey, floral, grass, bread, candi sugar, earth, and light yeast spiciness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity and balance of fruity and malty flavors; with zero cloying sweetness present after the finish. Medium carbonation and fairly full bodied; with a smooth and fairly slick mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a small warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a highly excellent Tripel style! Great balance and complexity of fruity esters and malts; and very smooth to sip on. A highly enjoyable offering.

Appearance: hazy butterscotch with a thick white head shrinking to a fat cap. Aroma: honey, booze, peaches, orange zest, white pepper, and a hint of musty basement. Taste: champagne, vanilla, orange, apricots, honey. Finish: boozy, with lingering sweet, orchardy fruits. Notes: BIG beer, with a thick, chewy, boozy, sweet, fruity action. I like my tripels with a little more lightness in the palate and a little bit drier of a finish, but this was still darn good. Bottle from the Rare Beer Club.

On tap. Clear yellow with a fluffy white head. Sweet apple, stone fruit, Belgian candy sugar, and sweet bread aroma and taste with a nice smooth silky full bodied palate.

sulawang (408) - British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 29, 2013
pours translucent golden orange with suspended lees, a wonderfully thick pillowy head, very thick and sticky lacing, some visible streams. Inviting sweet floral malts on the nose. Drinks with a mainly creamy/light fizzy mouthfeel, subdued alcohol in the background mixed with building 9/10-sweetness, main flavours of malts, caramel, hints of citrus, honey, peach, with wheat and yeast overtones, finishing smooth, light malty and off-dry. Medium complexity, med-high depth, good transitions, good carry, decent drinkability. Creeper effect as you might expect from a smooth 10.5% ABV beer.

75 cl bottle @ hotel room, Bruges. Rated on 16.07.2010
Bottle opened with loud POP and cork flew all over the hotel bathroom. Aroma has floral notes, some booze and apricot. Flavour has apricot, some spices, stinging alcohol and hints of spices. Too boozy like some other >10% Bush beers.

Bottle - 750mL corked and caged. Gusher. Been refrigerated for more than a week. Explosive pop when removing the cork and about 25% over the kitchen counter. Muddy gold pour with a tall, delicate, foamy white head. Aroma is pleasing with sweet malt, candied fruit, yeast notes, flowers, grassy hops, soft spice and grains. Taste is sweet malt, candied fruit notes, toasted grains, flowers, grassy hops, yeast, light booze and cake. Body is medium with a strong, effervescent carbonation. No noticeable warmth from this but plenty of sugary stickiness. Finishes as it began - more sweet malts, candied fruit, yeast notes, grass, flowers and soft sponge cake notes.
