Appearance: hazy butterscotch with a thick white head shrinking to a fat cap. Aroma: honey, booze, peaches, orange zest, white pepper, and a hint of musty basement. Taste: champagne, vanilla, orange, apricots, honey. Finish: boozy, with lingering sweet, orchardy fruits. Notes: BIG beer, with a thick, chewy, boozy, sweet, fruity action. I like my tripels with a little more lightness in the palate and a little bit drier of a finish, but this was still darn good. Bottle from the Rare Beer Club.

750 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours an orange colour with large white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, fruity with moderate hops. Taste is pretty sweet, fruity. Pretty good beer.

probstblueribbon (2858) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 5, 2014
750 ml bottle from LCBO(?), served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.

App.: Deep golden with TONS of large yeast flakes and a small white head. Aroma: Richly malty, sweet, warm, spicy, lightly estery, boozy, a little old apple juice, faintly buttery? Palate: Medium+ body with full, creamy effervescence. Flav.: Quite estery, spicy, citrus and alcohol, nice malt character, more booze; sweet with low bitterness and a long, very boozy finish that has citrus and light spiciness.

Pretty good/typical for a Tripel. Ugly though...

Une classique blonde triple belge. Jolie couleur dorée. Arômes d'épices en bouche. On sent beaucoup l'alcool.

Bottled 750ml. -from Svijet Piva Zagreb. Orange/golden coloured, big white head that stays for a while, yeasty alcoholic nose. Really lively carbonation. Moderate malty, quite pronounced alcohol, Belgian yeast and spices with warming alcohol in the finish. All in all pretty much the same as other "high ABV" Bush beers.

hopscotch (8783) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 2, 2013
Bottle... Cloudy golden pour with a large, frothy, white head. Good retention. The bouquet offers pale grains, citrus fruit, peppery hops and coriander. Full-bodied with prickly carbonation. The flavor is spicy and generously-bittered, while pale malt sweetness evens things up. Finishes spicy, bready and bittersweet.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours hazy light amber in color with a bubbly whitish head. Fruits-in-a-box, light coriander spicyness and some sweetish marzipan in aroma. Orange peel as well is present. Fruity, citrus, some yeasty notes and biting spicyness in taste. Easy to drink considering the abv. Slightly biting spicyness mixed with some fruityness makes this a delicious brew.

Shared a 75cl bottle from Cora (Luxembourg). Pours a hazy golden yellow colour with a nice head. Aroma is orange peel, yeast, oxide and alcohol. Flavour with a little of sweet that turns it into a boring beer. Too sweet.

Never even noticed before that I was missing this one. 75 cl. bottle procured from Carrefour. BBF 2016. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a big creamy white head that fizzes away quickly. Smells of esters, touch lower alcohol coming through, bitter boozy orange peel, candy sugar, sugary, touch Madeira. Taste is alcohol, marmalade, liquid candy sugar, in your face esters, boozy in your face like cheap Jenever, bitter, apples, grass,… High carb. This is the kind of BE beers I don’t really like, boozy & estery. Others seem to do that, Bush specializes in these beers. I get the bottle stand open in the fridge to get the carb out. Shook my glass vigorously, like it a bit more now. Still tastes of cheep booze but with more candy sugar, marmalade & Madeira touches, very simple and not all that it could be. Maybe there, maybe not oxidation notes are more pronounced now but that might be just my treatment of the bottle. Anyway, I definitely like it more now, I had difficulties drinking it before but now no longer. I still think that there is no way that I can finish even half of the bottle of this. This is not for me but its well-done from a technical point of view.
