Slow gushing to huge fluffy off-white head, over orange-tinted beer, suspended with mini-UFO’s. Alcohol, white candi sugar, caramel, honingbollen . Very alcoholic taste, sweetness very outspoken, both sugars & alcohol. Caramel, very childrens’ sweets.-like. Sweeter than the 33cl version? Retronasal something like rice, and resinous. Alcohol prominent, thick texture and yeasty feel in the mouth. A bit disappointing - maybe a bit of lagering would do it a world of good - until it explodes?

si presenta ambrata con molto deposito chiaramente visibile..l’aroma fruttato è unito all’alcool che però è ben bilanciato e non prevale sul malto..calda al palato e dal finale lungo ed inebriante!

Tap. Pours lightly hazy gold with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is biscuit, cereal and straw malt, fruity esters and earthy hops. Flavor is malt forward with medium hops and bitterness, spicy alcohol and fruity esters with a sweet finish. Full body, medium warmth and carbonation.

Bottle: Bright straw, lots of sediment as I get to the bottom of this bottle, bubbley, moderate to large rocky
white head, spotty lacing. Big bright grassy nose, a bit of floralness and breadiness. Bright breadiness on the
tongue, a bit of floral and sweet grass. Fairly vibrant and bubbley. Minor alcohol. Moderate to full body
and mouthfeel. Bright breadiness lingers. Decent example, a little more alcoholic and less floral than other
examples.

Sad that this one has to be called Scaldis so that Americans don’t confuse it with Busch Lite. This is a big tripel, with the usual sweetness and nice fruitiness, and just a touch of spice. Nice.

Big ass beer. Loads of fruit along with a lot of bread. Throw in some peanut butter and you have a hell of a sandwich.Cloudy pale yellow with a big lacing head. Lots of carbonation cleaning away the sweetness. All in all, the flavor is quite refreshing, fairly dry considering the sweetness, and very drinkable despite the alcohol. Keep ’em coming.
