3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 dresden (266) - Saskatchewan, CANADA - JAN 13, 2012
On tap. Orangey/copper with a bit of head. I usually get this whenever I got to Bushwakker and it’s on tap. Quite sweet but quite drinkable. More of a British style IPA.
3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 patricks110 (913) - Alberta, CANADA - NOV 10, 2011
Had on Sept. 10, 2011 at the Brewpub. The pour is a lovely amber with a finger of beige head. A nose is sweet caramel, toffee and a medium hop with light citrus notes. Caramel sweet malts and biscuit in the middle with a mild earthy tone and a light citrus taste. The finish has a moderate hop presence and a slight hop aftertaste. Could use a bit more hop presence, but still a good IPA.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Sask89 (278) - Regina, Saskatchewan, CANADA - AUG 15, 2010
Pours amber in colour with a creamy white head, mostly clear. Aroma is of floral and citrus hops, grapefruit and some light malt scents. Taste is reasonably bitter and quite nice. Medium body, soft carbonation and a smooth / creamy mouth feel. Overall a good beer, not a particularly amazing IPA, but good.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 pootzboy (1310) - Hawgville, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 9, 2007
Bottle: thanks Kris
Poured a deep amber-orange into the glass thick, sticky 2 finger cap with great retention and lacing.
Aromas: Toffee, caramel, musty-earthy-cedar hop tones.
Profile: profuse caramel malts in front are instantly joined with a juicy citrus rush from the hops to balance....mid palate some toasty-treacle tones with spruce hops and some tart fruity notes...the finish is lingering and drying with the citrus-pine bittering ripping loose from the rich caramel malts.
Lush juicy mouth feel, creamy caramel malts, good dose of hops, satisfying and drinkable a perfect session IPA....This is a keeper!

Tap. light orange/dark yellow colour. tatstes of malt, hops, and slightly bitter. Not overdone with carbonation.

Bottled sample. Amber in colour with a slight caramel tinge. Slightly lower than average carbonation. Strong caramel and toffee nose with a hint of earthy hops on the tail end. Caramel malts are the up-front flavor with some trailing notes of more bready malts and a mild nut quality. I also noted a touch of the lactic quality that Capflu mentioned. Light bitterness, but a fairly hefty body. Could use a bit more bitterness and finishing hop presence, but this is some very solid stuff. Thanks rudge75.

Nice looking IPA. Orange with a lasting off white head. Lightly hoppy aroma. Balanced beer with a nice light airy body. I prefer the Regina Pale. Thanks to Rudge75.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Lubiere (6988) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 12, 2004
Slightly hazy gold ale with a sweet corn syrup aroma. Nice biscuitty taste, fresh. Like a good english pale ale, with a rather mild hops and nice milkey notes. Good bodied. Decent stuff.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 CapFlu (3798) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 25, 2004
(650ml bottle) Almonde head with an orange, sediment-filled body. Sweet, lactic, corn and mild hops. Seems better suited as an ENGLISH Pale Ale? Sweet hoppy flavour. Very smooth but too sweet for my liking.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 mustang3 (254) - Whitby, CANADA - MAY 3, 2004
This pours a lovely golden colour, much darker than most IPAs. Good nose of hops. Taste is balanced and nicely hopped. I think it has a spicy hop aroma and flavour and I prefer citrusy, but a good beer.
