Bottle, traded to me by paco, shared with Parksy. deep, thick darkest brown, light brown finely bubbled head. Aroma is equal parts roast and barrel traits: coffee, burnt toast, vanilla toffee, hints of licorice, hints of peat. Flavours are hearty roast, roasted marshmallow, coffee, undertones of vanilla, toasted coconut, and peat. Very well balanced, with some hops coming in late, lending a nice bitterness to the finish. Well done!
