Virtually nothing on the aroma here. I wouldn’t have detected that this was a kolch, it seemed cloudier than a true kolsch. Overall, a disappointing beer.

650ml bottle purchased from the brewery poured a light golden color with a small white head which left some thin spotted lacing. Aroma is light malts and hops. Taste is light malty sweetness with some fruitiness and a mild hop bitter finish. A decent blonde ale.

On tap at Bushwakkers in Regina. Not a huge fan of kolsch styles but this one was decent

Best beer I ever had. A light beer that has a consistant taste. A bit of a sweet tase.

Huge butterscotch diacetyl overwhelms all in the nose. Hazy blonde body is topped by a low white head that recedes to a partial cover with some sudsy lacing on the glass. Diacetyl is less apparent in the fruity flavour with some notes of citrus (tangerine, lemon) and decent finishing bitterness. Light medium body is somewhat slick in texture but this is offset by moderately prickly carbonation. Sampled on tap at the brewpub before the Als/Riders game.

(Draught) 5 oz sampler tasted at the brewpub on December 29, 2005, for $1.50. Lightly malted and somewhat buttery nose. Creamy and malted flavour with a lasting buttery bitterness at the finish. Light gold colour with a small whiate head. Seemed light-struck or diacetyl?

Hazy yellow with a thin white head that doesn’t last very long. Not much of an aroma, similar to Amsterdam’s blonde ale. Musty flavour, slight tin taste. Similar to white wine. Watery palate as expected. Not a bad beer for the style but not my cup of tea.
