3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
750ml bottle scavenged from the Picaroon’s Brewers Bash leftovers, packed with a generic label that matched this ABV and CIPA in marker on the cap, so I assume this is what I drank. Overall, a very grapefruity and West Coast IPA. Wouldn’t mind seeing more of this in Canada.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle (22 oz). Traded by dresden, thanks Steve! Murky orange with a medium diminish white head and good lacing. Aroma of malt/caramel, grapefruit and pine. Taste is also malty with notes of grapefruit and pine. Moderate bitterness. Mouthfeel is piney and slightly dry. Medium body. A tad too malty for my liking but still a good IPA.

I don’t know why they wouldn’t rename this beer but it’s quite different from the original. Clear orange with a fluffy white head. Lots of grapefruit and pine aroma. Well balanced with lots of citrus. An improvement for sure!
