This is probably one of my favourite Bushwakker beer. It’s similar to Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (hence the name) but its a bit grassier than that. Pours golden orange with a white head. Aroma and taste of citrus hops and pine. Great session beer.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 dreamflower (194) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - MAR 26, 2012
This was one of my favourites at Bushwakkers, and I’m not even a big IPA fan. This was well balanced and not overpowering. Good flavour.

This was one of my favourites at Bushwakker. A nice hoppy APA. You get quality bitterness balanced with malts, as per the style. A nice beer.

650ml bottle purchased from the brewery pours a golden orange color with a 2 finger white head that settles to some nice lacing. Aroma is citrus and piney hops with hints of caramel. Taste is balanced nice between the bitter hops and caramel malty backbone. Body is medium with some lively carbonation. This is a bold pale ale more like an IPA and was very tasty.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 JB84 (649) - Kitchener, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 7, 2011

Tanks Paco! Wonderful clean deep amber.. I think... the lighting in my basement sucks balls. Digging the aroma - upfront and in my face - lemon, powedered orange flavour, apricot, floral, caramel, light roast - all nice after the bock I had last night. There is also a light herbal something or maybe a candy red licorice or something. 465 years. That is when the last lunar eclipse happened on the winter solstice. Happens tonight. Now you know and are less stupid for it. Big ass hop flavour. This is one bitter bastard. Lightly watery pine, almost peppery quality, a bit of roast, not soft caramel, I just had a vision of riding a Shetland pony, pantless. and it’s name was Alberto... ????????????? decent citrus, grapefruit that is only half unsweetened, something else. Good bitter finish that is pretty long, somewhat subdued and leaves me wanting more. Too bad the carbonation is a bit off and this didn’t have a thicker flavour. Either way, I’m just glad to be slugging back something with hops.

I love this bar, but the only notes I have are the numbers, which is unfortunate....
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Boutip (3458) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 5, 2010
Bottle: Poured a lightly hazy light copper color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light hoppy notes with dry caramel malt notes. Taste is not as hoppy as I had expected with a shy dry caramel malt backbone. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. I was expecting a bit more hops with more character.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 cfrancis (1359) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 1, 2010
Thanks to paco for this. Pours a clear yellow amber with a nice white head. Aroma is pine, orange and hop. Taste starts with a nice smooth blast of pine hop bitterness followed by orange and a dry finish. Really nice beer, wish it was sold in Ontario.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 CapFlu (3798) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 1, 2010
I’ve finally hit Bushwakker’s when this is on tap. (Draught) Sampled at the brewpub. Pours a quick dissipating white head atop an orange amber body. Nose is very pine tar and orange. I like the flavour and viscosity of this beer - its still pretty malted but the piney hops show through with a citrus finish. A very good beer. Enjoyed with RB local Paco.
