Bottle: Hazy orange with a thin white head. Malty orange aroma, hints of spices. Spicy orange flavour. Hints of biterness, wheaty aftertaste. Warm finish.

UPDATED: NOV 26, 2006 Orange in colour with minimal carbonation and a malty aroma. Malty flavors dominate as well, with hints of orange, a bit of spicy hops, and a restrained bitterness. It could have used a bit more fruit flavor and a bit more bitterness, but that’s just my taste. Well balanced.

650ml bottle. Poured hazy orange colour, small head, off brown. Surprisingly little aroma to speak off, although ¾ through as it got warmer I got a certain faint citrusy aroma. Hops right off the bat in taste, tastes like cascade, rather bitter – very citrusy. Nice bite on the finish as well, body is a tad thin, but it does remarkably well in balancing the hops with the malt. Overall, pretty good and very drinkable.

(650ml bottle) Pours a thin, slow-dissipating, almonde coloured head and a hazy, orange body with light carbonation. Nose of a mellow malt (Carastan?), leather, oranges, cascade and aromatic hops? Smell reminds me more of an amber than a bitter? Initial fruity-bitterness with underlying malt flavours. The hops show through at 3/4 then turns to a bitter-dry malt finish. Good.
