A fine friend procured this for me and what an honour it was to drink alongside he. A simple and very pleasant Porter and a spectacular exemplar to the style. Dark chocolate and coffee flavours abound, only subsiding to allow notes of smoothly roasted grain to bite through. Towards the end of a highly desirable swing, a clear yet subtle smokiness protrudes perfectly. Palliser provides a creamy but not thick mouthfeel and proves that simple can sometimes be just as enjoyable as complex.

Bottle. Very roasty, subtly sweet with a bitter edge. Malty with chocolate and a touch of coffee and vanilla. Fairly light bodied, but flavourful. Pretty solid porter.

decent color and head, light cocoa notes in the aroma, more of a dark chocolate. Really smooth across the palate, not too thin, some decent roasted flavors. Other than that, pretty bland

Bottle, thanks Dresden! Black viscous pour minimal tan head that disappeared pretty quick. Aroma, light hopes, nutty roast, coffee and some light sweetness. Taste, roasted malts, light hop flavour, medium mouthfeel, smooth finish with some light bitterness. Solid porter.

Sample at Fredericton Craft Brewing Festival. Dark brown with some red around the edges. Aroma is roasty chocolate. Taste was dark chocolate and roasted coffee. Sweet, but a dark sweetness. Body was full enough for a porter. Overall, one of the best I had that night.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. This is my first beer from Saskatchewan. The beer pours a brown color with a tan head. The aroma is pretty much full of chocolate and roasted malt, as a porter should be. The flavor is more of the same, with some caramel, chocolate, roasted malt and a hint of brown sugar. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Style et résumé: Porter fruité sans fruit.
Comment: Bouteille de 650 ml. merci Patrick
DeScription: Bière noire sans envergure.
