3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Miksu (4012) - Jyväskylä, - JAN 1, 2008
0.55 l bottle. Almost black color with creamy tan head. Malty and coffeish aroma. Roasty and malty flavor with coffee and chocolate. Tasty but lacks complexity which makes porters so great.

While nothing blew me away at Bushwakker, all of their beers were quality, and this one was one of my favourite. Nicely sweet and roasted tasting. Nice.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 pushkinwow (866) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 21, 2012
Bomber. Black with a nice mocha head that fades fairly quickly. Roasted and somewhat sweet malts, light coffee, molasses, bit of smoke and chocolate. Moderately high carbonation, little thin, more sweet then bitter, bit of tang which seems out of space, dry and malts/molasses at the end.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 dresden (266) - Saskatchewan, CANADA - JAN 16, 2012
This is probably my favourite Bushwakker beer. Pours black with a thin head. Tons of roasty malt, caramel, cocoa and coffee. Medium body with light carb.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 reebtogi (2169) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 16, 2012
Pint on tap at the brewery pours almost black in color with a small beige head which leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is roasted malts with hints of chocolate and coffee. Taste is roasted malt and coffee bitterness balanced with some chocolate malty sweetness and a light hop bitterness. Medium body and good carbonation. Good stuff.

Gift from SJ. A nice brown pour with a red hue. Aromas of sweet choclate malts and roast. A dry roasted and coffee taste. Not bad.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 asmundgo (10) - Regina, Saskatchewan, CANADA, Saskatchewan, CANADA - JUN 19, 2011
650ml bottle poured into an English pint. Poured dark brown with minimal light brown head that dissipated rather quickly. Pleasant aroma of roasted malt and coffee. Palate is smooth, medium bodied, with light carbonation. Tastes is inititially sweet, of light chocolate malt and roast coffee, with a bitter finish. Overall this is a good porter (which, if memory serves, is somewhat better served on tap).
