3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 pootzboy (1310) - Hawgville, - JUN 9, 2006
650ml bottle fresh ( thanks Jason)
Puts a pale gold lightly hazed lager in the glass. Decent frothy cap that lasts and laces well. Moderate carbonation.
Aromas are very subtle but pleasant....sweet grains and hay, light citrus tones and a very light sulfide tone from the lager yeast.
Light bodied moderate malt spine, sandy grainy mouthfeel. Sharp dryish clean character.
Starts malty sweet with some citrus from the hops the hops then come forward mid way and in the finish to give a piney cedar twang to the buiscuit tastes....finish is clean dry and slightly bittering which caries into the after taste which is "tinny".
A hop biased pilsner in the Czech style very much like Kozel with longer hop bittering duration. Drinkable and refreshing.

This is hoppy pilsner, which I enjoyed. Much better than average for the style. Golden colour, distinct refreshing hoppy bitter flavour.

Draft at Bushwakker’s. Pours clear yellow/gold; thin white headm poor lacing. Nose is clean grain, nice grassiness; Palate is bitter, obvious hop presence, with notes of grass, cheese, mineral. Really lacking in aroma, and feels off-balance. Not a winner for me.

650ml bottle purchased from the brewpub pours a pale golden color with a small white head and very little lacing. Aroma is light grains and hops. Taste is light malty sweetness with a mild hop bitterness. Light bodied with low carbonation. An average brew for this style.

This is a bland and boring brew. The pour is a golden blonde with no head and light carbonation. The nose is grainy and bland with a grassy hop. The taste is crisp and grainy...thats it. Overall, a very bland but quaffable brew.

Tap. Golden - straw color. Not much head. Aromas of thick malt, grass, hay ,barley and various grains. Taste is rich malts, grains and barley. I found the body to be a bit too creamy for me.

Golden colored beer with a clean aroma with hints of grass and straw. Almost no head, and what was there was gone quickly. Crisp taste that leaves behind only a hoppy bitterness on the palate. Quite refreshing.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival 2007. A hazy orange beer with a huge orangey head. The aroma is sweet with notes of hay, straw, and hops. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of hazy, leading to a dry bitter finish.
