4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Well, I thought this was excellent - just what you look for in a session bitter: amber colour with a small white head, buttery malt and sweetness in the aroma. Rounded malty taste with a hint of refreshing fruitiness. Just the right amount of bitterness for lunchtime. Top beer; my third from Bushys and Iíve liked them all. I donít object to the cartoon fox in this case as heís riding a motorbike and thus is clearly sober.
