Clear medium amber orange color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, orange, fruity - hoppy. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090805]

GBBF. Cask. Clear gold beer, residual suddy white head. Trace of sulphur on the nose and in the beer. Light dry palate. Minerals. A little citrus. Overdry finish. Not great!

Cask at GBBF 2011 - Tuesday. Clear golden - white head. Citrus, tea, herbal, toasted, light malty, pilsner malty, light bitterness, ok flowery.

Pale gold, thin white head.
Malty, buttery nose, apples, hops, citrus, there is something off about this aroma.
Dry, light to medium body, medium bitterness.
Fruity, slightly phenolic taste, hops, butter, a tart bitterness, corn, yeast, earth. (2011-08-05)

Cask (gravity dispense) at GBBF, day 4 on 4 August 2006. Hazy gold colour with not much condition. Not much aroma but quite strongly citric on the palate. Respectable but unexciting.

Citrus hop aroma. Golden coloured hoppy and fruity with a little dryness in a crisp malt finish.

Cask@GBBF2009. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is yeast, earth, mild fruits and some notes of vanilla. Flavour is vanilla, wood, floral hops some mild herbal notes as well as fruits and mild bready notes.

Light amber color, small white head. Peach and apple fruity aroma. Apple, some woody hops in the flavors. Cidery like ale (although some hops in the aftertaste).

Cask gravity, Jersey BF 2007. Orange in appearance, slightly cloudy. Slightly orangey scent, but not much. Watery, bitter-sweet. Some sugar but really not much there; I certainly wasn’t getting any fruit from this one.

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Golden. Fruity aroma, possibly pineapple. Sweet malty taste, slightly buttery. Low bitterness. Liked it.
