Brewed to honour TT legend...(See the film!) George Formby, this bright, dry IPA style bitter has a particularly refreshing character.

Clear medium amber orange color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, orange, fruity - hoppy. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090805]

GBBF. Cask. Clear gold beer, residual suddy white head. Trace of sulphur on the nose and in the beer. Light dry palate. Minerals. A little citrus. Overdry finish. Not great!

Cask (gravity dispense) at GBBF, day 4 on 4 August 2006. Hazy gold colour with not much condition. Not much aroma but quite strongly citric on the palate. Respectable but unexciting.

Cask gravity, Jersey BF 2007. Orange in appearance, slightly cloudy. Slightly orangey scent, but not much. Watery, bitter-sweet. Some sugar but really not much there; I certainly wasn’t getting any fruit from this one.
