Fresca e profumata...si perde un poco nel palato. Il colore richiama l’ambra. Schiuma leggera e debole. Buona da gustare in estate

Bottle at the Cads 10th Anniversary bash, thanks to Pedro, The, 29/03/15. Lightly hazed golden blonde with a moderate white head. Nose is pale malt, grain, light caramel, vanilla. Taste comprises caramel, grain, fruit peel, bready malt. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so.

Bottle @ The Cad’s 10yr Shindig. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grainy cardboard aroma. Fruity malty grainy cardboard flavor. Has a sweetish malty grainy cardboard finish.

Bottle at The Cad’s 10 yr Shindig. Thanks to the Peter. It pours clear gold with a small white head. The nose is sweet, plenty of paper, grainy, rubbing alcohol and cereal. The taste is sweet, raw, papery, sugar, dull grainy action, alcohol and bread. Medium body and fine carbonation. This really does nothing for me at all. Nope.

Bottle share at CBC Clerkenwell, thanks to Peter. Hazy yellow orange, small foamy white head. Aroma is wholemeal bread, cardboard, paper. Body is medium, a little foamy, low carbonation. Taste follows the aroma with lots of bread and cardboard, quite sweet with no real bitterness to speak of. Interesting to try.

1L bottle. Smooth drinking traditional Lithuanian beer. New versions are very well bottle conditioned. Previously had live versions, that went sour in 2 days.

Butelka. Barwa złota, mętne. Piana obfita. Aromat wyczuwalne drożdże i słód. W smaku słodkie, praktycznie niewyczuwalna goryczka. Piwo nisko nasycone, gładkie, pijalne.

Bottle from Papa Karlo Russo-Lithuanian deli in Surbiton. Cloudy orange with little head. Very sweet, some citrus and also feels a little like a wheat beer, despite not being one. Caramel and butterscotch. Very different but probably won’t buy another.

Phwooaarrr this is a stinky beer. My friend bought this whilst Biking it around Eastern Europe in Kaunas. Needless to say it exploded after it’s 1600 mile bumpy trip on the back of a bike. But expect honey and more honey and more honey. Very sweet too and not an awful lot of fizz. Great bottle though!

Barva: střední až tmavší. Pěna držící, středně hustá. Vůně příjemná, na pozadí sladce ovocná. Chuť: plné tělo, mírný říz, ovocné tóny a jemné chlebové pozadí, hořkost přiměřená, patrná v dozvuku. Příjmené překvapení, marně přemýšlím k jakému pivu bych to přirovnal...no patrně to bude unikát :-)

1 litre fliptop bottle bought at a gas station of sorts near the Latvian border while trying to spend my last remaining litas as they’ll be in the euro before I go there again 5.0%abv. Slightly hazy darkish yellow colour, small frothy mostly lasting white head, virtually no lacing. Very dominating smell of butterscotch in the aroma with mostly malty aroma of caramel hay and bisquit with light floral hops. Taste is initially slightly sweet and meaty with some minerals and acidity turning into a mildly bitter finish with a hint of sourness and brothiness. Medium to fullf body, oily mouthfeel, avereage carbonation. Quite strange and actually not unpleasant or per se and certainly without anything insanely unpleasant this kind of brews often have. A bit raw still perhaps and could’ve had a bit more bitterness.
