3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Fresca e profumata...si perde un poco nel palato. Il colore richiama l’ambra. Schiuma leggera e debole. Buona da gustare in estate

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
1 litre fliptop bottle bought at a gas station of sorts near the Latvian border while trying to spend my last remaining litas as they’ll be in the euro before I go there again 5.0%abv. Slightly hazy darkish yellow colour, small frothy mostly lasting white head, virtually no lacing. Very dominating smell of butterscotch in the aroma with mostly malty aroma of caramel hay and bisquit with light floral hops. Taste is initially slightly sweet and meaty with some minerals and acidity turning into a mildly bitter finish with a hint of sourness and brothiness. Medium to fullf body, oily mouthfeel, avereage carbonation. Quite strange and actually not unpleasant or per se and certainly without anything insanely unpleasant this kind of brews often have. A bit raw still perhaps and could’ve had a bit more bitterness.

Shared bottle on the 23rd Aug 2014: Midlands gathering. Strange brew that reminded me of the butter icing you get in the middle of Sponge Cakes. Shall we leave it at that?
PS. I like butter icing.
