Fresca e profumata...si perde un poco nel palato. Il colore richiama l’ambra. Schiuma leggera e debole. Buona da gustare in estate

1L swing top bottle with an Estonian label "Butautu Hele Õlu". ABV is marked 5.0%. This is the closest match I could find, however the back label says it’s brewed by "Taruškų Alaus Bravoras". Pours a semi-hazy golden body with a medium tall head. Aroma has creamy cereals and some honey. Also something rustic... somebody used the word "henhouse" which is fitting. Quite typical Lithuanian lager. Taste is full and simple with cereals, light honey and modest hops. The buttery notes are not very distracting. Sweet minerally finish. Nice and drinkable, if you don’t mind the creamy notes. Oh, and the value is great - it was 3,45 EUR per 1L bottle. I guess the price of such a big swing top bottle itself demands a considerable part.

Bought 1 l glass bottle in Tallinn (Estonia), some 3.5 eur... Tastes and smells good but had feeling that I’ve drank it already (although I’m quite sure I haven’t), probably it’s because it tastes much like some other Lithuanian traditional ales. Might buy again however.

Bottle shared at CBC CW during The Cad 10yr celebrations, London. Thanks to Peter for this one. It pours a clear pale golden color with medium white head. Aroma is grainy and sweet with starch and caramel. Taste is grainy and sweet with starch and caramel. Feels raw, incomplete, unfinished. Overall, quite bad

500ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with small, collapsing, white head, a good deal of sparkling is going on. Muggy, mouldy, grainy aroma, slightly bready and doughy, a mixture of brackwater and honey. Taste is sweet-ish and slightly tart, hints of diluted honey, a floral touch, hints of grass and bamboo; tastes way fresher than feared considering the aroma. Slightly strange overall.

Bottle from Baltic Branch Dover. Golden with a beautiful, fluffy white Head. Grainy and also hoppy nose. Light-bodied, sweet malty start with a spicy touch (cinnamon?), bitter hops towards the lingering bitter finish. Bitter_sweet overall Impression. Strange at first, give it time and it’s still unusual but really nice.

Bottle shared during the Cad’s 10th anniversary bash - Clerkenwell, London. Pours clear yellow with a creamy white head. Simple, with lots of sugary white bread, cereal and hay. Light in body with fine to average carbonation. More basic sugary cereal in the finish. Very simplistic. So so.
