Amber in color with an off-white head. Nose is grassy and lightly floral. Some sweet bread, grain, and apple esters. A bit of citrus peel, maybe some yeast. The flavor is sort of bland and a bit watery. Some bread and grain notes, light toast, and fruity esters. There’s a mild citrus note, some floral hops, and a fair amount of grassy bitterness.

Can drinking this on a ocean front patio in Maui.poured orange copper nice head and decent lacing. Aroma is citrus. Not really hoppy. I thought I was making a good choice when it said it was pale ale... flavour is also unique. Very fruity with tropical/banana things happening. Perhaps they were trying for that being from Hawaii? Its not undrinkable just different. But when your watching a sailboat go by and the surf break it would have to be pretty bad not to be good, ha ha. Nice carbonation, just think they are missing ferment temps.

Pours thick and orange with a small white head and bubbles that look like they are fighting hard to make it to the surface. In my opinion, this has never been a good sign. The nose is like and orange flavored pop tart or those jelly candies with some ginger and papaya in the mix. The taste is high, way high sweet and low bitter. I believe this is not fully attenuated. The texture is oily and clingy, the body is to heavy and the finish is long.

Can from Casa De Oro. Nose is somewhat grainy like a pale lager. A little bit of hops are noticeable. Kind of off in taste. A slight hop flavor over a cheap brew.

Nice slightly hazy amber coloured body with more of a copper hue than anything else and a thin, half a centimetre thick off-white head. Aroma of funky malt, rice, alcohol, hop pellets and some junky sugars. Light-bodied; Sharp metallic notes up front with some odd sweetness behind from apricots with a little malt behind and a bad bitterness (not from hops) at the tail end. Aftertaste is bland when good and bitter and off-tasting when bad - not a great finish at all. Overall, a pretty bad beer actually, much worse than expected and not any better than most junky lagers, let alone any decent craft ale. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Olive Tree Market Place in San Diego, California on 05-May-2012 for US$1.99 sampled at home in Washington on 01-June-2012 and would advise anyone against buying or paying for this at all.

12oz can pours copper with thin near white head. The aroma offers up sweet malts, a bit of biscuit, some Pilsner like malts, a touch of metal and spicy hops and floral hops too. Hmm. The taste begins with some maltiness as well as some estery fruitiness that bowls into meek spicy and floral hops. What ya gonna do?
