COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed especially for De 22e Nederlandse Bierweek at Bierproeflokaal In de Wildeman, 4-6th of October 2012. A cask-conditioned dark saison revealing an abundance of fruity esters and a hint of smokiness to add to the complexity, dry and crisp although low in carbonation.

On tap at In de Wildeman, sample courtesy of Andrejes, Very dark purp brown pour, no head or lacing, very thick beer for a saison, Notes were too sweet, smokey, with some soy sauce and dark fruit dominating. I think this was one of the first kegs if not the first, one of the last beers I tried on the trip.

Cask @ In De Wildeman. Brown color, somewhat hazy. No head. Aromaís: sweet, sweet fruit, sweets, a little herbal and smoky retronasal. Flavor is roasted, lightly sweet, tar, a little fruity sour. Light to medium bodied. Finishes light bitter, a little tar. Interesting.
