Bit of a gusher. Hazy brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, anis seeds, yeast, candy sugar, spicy (the grains of paradise?), bubblegum and banana. Bitter flavour, quite sweet, roasted malts. Finish caramel, roasted malts, bubblegum, somewhat lingering bitter.
(From 33cL bottle shared @ post-Rammstein tasting, Nijmegen. Thanks for getting me the bottle, Rene)

Little cloudy dark amber beer, lots of very small sediment floating around under an off-white to beige creamy head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very soapy, shower gel, sweet, laundry. That’s weird. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter and hoppy (and this is after having drunk some Alesmith IPA, just sayin’), citrus, soapy, caramel, sugary, bit of raisins. Aftertaste: bitter hops, raisins, sugar, caramel, banana, bitter hops.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy brownish beer with a small, off white head that settles into a small ring very quickly. Aroma is o caramel, malts and yeast. Flavour is very sweet with almost some artificial sweetners and fruity essences going on. Overly sweet and unbalanced. Alcoholic and overly sweet, not my cup of tea.

Svesse (5240) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - MAR 1, 2013
(Draught at In de Wildeman, Amsterdam, 20 Feb 2013) Reddish amber colour with dense, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, dried fruit, marmalade candy and black-currant. Malty, fruity taste with dried fruit, red berries and a vinous finish with hints of cherries in brandy. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. A bit boozy, but quite nice.
