Love the very metal label. Amber in colour and opaque in appearance. Smells a bit malty and a bit like, well, alcohol.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A little too sweet for my tastes. Some candied fruit, caramel, and bread. Light floral notes and a medium body. Tried with Nick and Beth at the brewery in 2014.

3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma of dark malts, caramel, ripe dark fruits, candy sugar, yeast, light chocolate. Flavour is quite sweet, a bit too sugary for my taste. Still, the aroma makes up for it, at least partially.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Winter beer created in Amsterdam but first (2013) brewed in Belgium at Gulden Spoor. Thin but stable, off-white foam, colour a misty copper. Aroma of caramel, peaches, hazelnuts, rosewater, some DMS too (cooked cabbage). Taste dry and mildly spicy, caramel and nuts in the middle, finishing in a leafy hop bitterishness.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle: Served in a shaker:
Medium sized creamy foamy head on top of a deep hazy amber colored beer.
Aromas of hebs, malts, caramel, pee, grass, cabbage and hay.
Flavours of alcohol, spices, grains, rice, some herbs, too much alcohol, controlling and doninating everything... Pity!
Aftertaste is warm with porridge, some malts and dusty nuts.
Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied and a creamy texture.
Unenjoyable. Alcohol dominates everything and there’s an unpleasent rice porridge tone which does not make it any better...
