Bottle @ home. Aroma is caramel, molasses, caramel, candy sugar. Flavour is basicly the same with some caramel and hop bitterness. Okay.

Beer tasting with Marius at Café de la Gare. OK, heavier stuff. Dark ruby, nice caramel aroma and warm beer taste, enough alcohol there. Good beer indeed. (Den Haag 201503)

Poured medium brown with an off white head. Aroma of soft fruit and caramel malt. Light body, flavour is medium sweet, medium bitter. Meh...

(Butcher’s Tears Ex Voto) Stubby bottle 330 ml at home, served into a tulip, ABV 9% Deep mahogany brown colour on the body, clear, with good activity in it. One finger of off-white head, good density and retention. Light lacing left on the glass. Aroma of light nuts, sugars, light alcohol, something ginger-like which I guess is the grains of paradise. Sweet taste, with caramel, spices, ginger, light grains and nuts, light alcohol. Medium body, good ative carbonation. Not bad.

Love the very metal label. Amber in colour and opaque in appearance. Smells a bit malty and a bit like, well, alcohol.

Bottle 33cl. Unclear amber brown, one finger frothy off-white head, disappears quickly, thin layer of foam remains; aroma sweet malts, caramel, brown sugar, licorice, yeast; taste is above medium sweet, malty, bit spicy; full body, oily texture, soft carbonation; finish roasty bittersweet, coffee tones. Kinda rough beer.

A little too sweet for my tastes. Some candied fruit, caramel, and bread. Light floral notes and a medium body. Tried with Nick and Beth at the brewery in 2014.

Aroma of dark malts, caramel, ripe dark fruits, candy sugar, yeast, light chocolate. Flavour is quite sweet, a bit too sugary for my taste. Still, the aroma makes up for it, at least partially.

Winter beer created in Amsterdam but first (2013) brewed in Belgium at Gulden Spoor. Thin but stable, off-white foam, colour a misty copper. Aroma of caramel, peaches, hazelnuts, rosewater, some DMS too (cooked cabbage). Taste dry and mildly spicy, caramel and nuts in the middle, finishing in a leafy hop bitterishness.
