Bottle from a Local Beer Swap (thanks Maakun). Yeasty and fruity smell with citrus, hops, earth and a slight metallic note. Malty taste with some buiscuit, bread, nuts, earth and a metallic note. The metallic note is disturbing.

Piana średnio- i grubo-pęcherzykowa, intensywna. Piwo ma barwę złoto-pomarańczową i jest mętne. Zapach mało intensywny, w pierwszej chwili mamy jakby moczone zboża i lekkie cytrusy, głównie pomarańcze. Wraz z ogrzewaniem coraz bardziej ujawniają się charakterystyczne dla belgijskich piw przyprawy, a na wierzch wychodzą morele. Piwo jest mocno wysycone, lekko szczypie w język. W smaku dominują słody i ponownie jakby mokre zboża i mokry karton. Finisz to mocna, tępa i pestkowa goryczka. Bardzo nieprzyjemna i długo zalegająca. Owoców całkowicie brak.

Really abundant head in this hazy orange-ish brew. There’s a nice balance between the fruity aromas and the bitter finish on the tongue.

Bottle from Beer Moth, Manchester. Hazy orange pour with a thin off white head. Aroma had notes of bread, grassy hop and a little fruit. Flavour was yeasty with some pale malts and citrus also in attendance. Crisp and dry with a decent bitter finish. Solid and drinkable offering.

jjsint (1213) - Ely, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - NOV 17, 2014
Bottle from Bacchinalia, Cambridge. Hazy brownish gold. Massive rocky beige head. Piney, resiny hop, applesauce, yeast, a hint if tropical fruit in the enticing scent. Taste starts bittersweet and light, disappears for a moment, then reappears as a waxy bitter at the back of the tongue. Finish brings a hint of bitter herb and toffee apple. Light to medium body. Nice carbonation. Odd. But nice.

33cl bottle at restaurant Barco, Amsterdam. Hazy orange/amber with a full white head. Medium to full body with quite some carbonation. Very present bitterness with some sweet tones. Hops, yeast, pine, grapefruit, spices and some herbs. A very decent bitter brew.

33 cl bottle, bottled on 10 Jan 2014. Hazy, copper colour. A very abundant, rich white foam. Aromas of hop oils and dark bread. A hint of fruit jam underneath. Dry, hop bitter, peppery with a solid earthy touch. Some cardboard in the finish. Neither unpleasant nor distinctive.

Een bier waar er dertien van in een dozijn zijn. Het is niet slecht maar het is ook niets speciaals

JefVerstraete (1903) - Ghent, BELGIUM - AUG 25, 2014
Bottle @ Rootz, Den Haag. Amber colour, white foam. A lot of carbonation. Dry and bitter beer with mettalic hints. Belgian yeast. Not well balanced. Not easy drinkable. Not very good.
