0,33 l bottle shared with Kristall-König. Dark red brown in the glass. Floral sweetness on the nose. Starts heavy fruity and malty. Light dry, licorice, nutty, light bitter and heavy.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus, Joes and Ansjelaah. A bit unclear dark red color, average sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, slightly leaves, decently bitter. Medium body and carbonation.

0,33cl bottle Bottled at 23/10/2013, Apearance: Slight hazy copper color with a small head. not much lacing Aroma: caramelised malts,hints of toasted and roasted malts, slight herbal and chocolate tones. Taste: Medium sweet, roasty, caramel, dark bread and light chocolade tones. In the finish a hint of spicyness comes in. Moderate sweet, allthough in some spots no counterbalance so it tastes sweeter. Mild bitterness. medium body, average carbonation

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear purple with a pinkish white and an aroma of roasted malts, cherries, mocca, cacao, spices and toffee. The taste is slightly to moderately sweet with some bitterness and a medium lasting finish. A nice beer.

Bottled from speciaalbierpakket, dated 23/10/2013, large sample. Slight hazy copper color, short frothy head. Aroma of caramel malt, toffee, bit toast, hint of roast, some green tea. Bit biscuity sweetness, slight hint of alcohol, bit bitter. Really has that english strong ale feel to it, together with a slight spicy and chocolatey belgian note. Decent complexity. Nice beer.

(Draught at Butcher’s Tears, Amsterdam, 28 Feb 2014) Dark reddish brown colour with brief, foamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with chocolate, caramel and roasted malt. Malty, roasted taste with notes of dark bread, caramel, chocolate, coffee and a balanced spicy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a slight sweetness. Well balanced and quite tasty. Nice one.

Bottle. Beautiful color pours out of the bottle with a creamy light brown head. Taste is a little sweet, caramel is noticeable and also some nuts in the mix. Not a very powerful palate but a good beer nonetheless.
