Draught @ Van Moll Brewpub. Slightly hazy golden orange color, medium sized dense white head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is light to moderately malty, hops, fruit hops. Taste malts, hops, grapefruit, fruit, nicely bitter. Decent body, soft carbonation. Nice!

Bottle from ABC Beers, Den Haag. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head and plenty of broken lace. The aroma is grassy citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, light sweet, with a fruity, grassy nettle hop palate and a short bitter finish. Light bodied with average carbonation. A little too fruity and not enough bitterness for me. I need to feel the hops to their job to make a beer really refreshing and this beer is just too light with no bitterness or spice.

Bottle. Golden color. Pours a huge head. Citrus, grass and tropical fruit in the aroma. Malty sweet, herbal hopbitter flavor. Citric, with lots of tropical fruit. Nice.

OK ale. Huge white head pleasant carbonation hazy dark orange colour. Flavor is grapefruit, citrussy notes, dry grass and bitter hops. The finish is very dry, bitter and a bit wry. Well brewed but somehow I am not a big fan.

Not a bad pale ale. Some citrus and pine. Doesn’t have an abundance of aroma, but what is there is fresh and grassy. Tried with Nick and Beth at the brewery in 2014.

330ml bottle bought on recommendation at De Bierkoning in Amsterdam. Rocky white head blanketing the glass, cloudy dark golden coloured body. Prominent floral hoppy aroma, semi-dry. Rich succulent fruit hoppy taste, notes of orange and grapefruit. Well-rounded fruit bitter aftertaste. Not so dry. Soft in the mouth. Fine bodied. Well-crafted. Tasty and enjoying (upstream on the Rhine, Cabin, MS Serenade 1, 22.07.2014).

On tap at Butcher’s Tears. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of fruity hops, sweet malts, grapefruit, some tropical stuff, some leaves. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, light sugary, leafy, hoppy, grapefruit, tropical fruit, nice bitter finish with some underlying sugar. Light to medium-bodied, soft carbonation, very easy drinking. Nice.

33 cl bottle from De Bierkoning @ home. Orange to amber color, fairly clear. Big white rocky head with long retention and good lacing. Aroma’s: flowery hops, earthy bitterness as well as some sweet fruits. More fruit retronasal. Flavor is light to moderate sweet with a moderate bitter backbone, some fruit. Medium bodied. Finishes somewhat dry and rather bitter. Maybe not quite APA, but nice anyway.
