Aroma is malt and cereal, could not detect hops... Not promising for an IPA. Taste is lightly bitter with cereal, and butterscotch tones, with a lightly pine finish. Mouthfeel is nice and rich.

Sweet aroma with caramel malt. very smooth and easy to drink. Quite a lot of toasty malt in the flavour. Roasted bittersweet aftertaste.

Light chestnut color pour. Moderate hoppy smell but flavor is maltier than a normal IPA.

Pours a brown colour, taste is malty and toffee like, an ok beer but a bit of a dissapointment and uninspiring

Smooth textured light copper coloured ale with a disappearing bubbly head. Has a good identifiably pale ale aroma with a small fruitiness. It’s more stubborn in its flavour and has a graininess. Slips down the palate with ease.

500ml Bottle: best before 14 May 2013, poured into my Abbot Ale glass tankard on 12 Aug 2012.
Chestnut brown and clear body: on top a huge foaming crown of off-white bubbles.
Solid hop nose with mild malt undertones: an understated aroma, but got stronger as the beer warmed (I’d cooled it in the fridge).
The taste was interesting: hop bitterness countered by some malty sweetness (caramel and toffee notes): The body was well balanced and the 5% ABV suited the brew nicely.
I’ll certainly have this again if I see it.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dagan’s place. Thanks Tomer G. Clear deep golden-copper. Aroma of earthy hops, a bit of minerals and malt. Sweetish flavor with malt, a tiny bit of caramel and some earthy hops bitterness. Medium-bodied.
